Chapter 10 Drop You Off

For some unknown reason, she wanted to trigger Ryan. Smiling at Leonardo, she stretched out her

arm and greeted, “Nice to meet you!”

“You’re so beautiful, Catherine,” Leonardo praised her sincerely and shook her hand politely.

“Hey, what about me?” Jasmine teased.

“Of course, you’re beautiful too! I just don’t want to praise you so openly. Otherwise, Ryan might beat

me up!”

“Take a seat. I’ll get nervous if you just stand there!” Leonardo gestured exaggeratedly to Catherine.

Catherine sat down with a smile. The chamomile

tea was already on the table, so Leonardo took the initiative and poured her a cup.

“I know I have a bad reputation. People call me a playboy, but the truth is that I just haven’t met the

woman I truly love. When I met you at the wedding that day, I felt like I finally met the right one for me.

Sorry for my straightforwardness, but I’d really like to date you. I called Jasmine out today so that she

can introduce you to me, and I also wanted Ryan to be a witness to our relationship. As long as you

agree to go out with me…”

“You can’t ask her out!” Before Leonardo could finish speaking, Ryan suddenly interrupted him, his

tone harsh like a strict parent.

Ryan couldn’t hold it in anymore. What was Leonardo trying to do? Did he suddenly fall in love with

her?

Who was the one who swore to see all the

beauties in the world? In the end, he succumbed to

that d*mn woman after she tried to seduce him.

After all, Leonardo was the third son of the Walker family. How could he behave like a homeless man novelbin

who had never seen a woman before? It was. embarrassing.

Never did Leonardo expect that his brother would behave like that when it was the first time the former

wanted to have a serious relationship with a woman. Didn’t he always want him to quit flirting with

Who was he to judge his brother’s relationship? If she hadn’t been in a contract relationship with him,

she would have challenged him by dating his brother!

Out of embarrassment, Leonardo flushed. After being stunned for a while, he finally found his voice.

“But you always wanted me to get into a serious relationship…”

Ryan waved his hand to stop him, his expression gloomy.

“Are you serious right now? Do you want to be engaged for life after seeing her just for once? Is that

what you call being serious? How much do you know about her except for her pretty face?

Some women look beautiful, but they’re very scheming…”

“Ryan, Catherine is not that kind of person.” Jasmine frowned and retorted angrily.

“I didn’t say she is, but he doesn’t know about her at all. He’s too impulsive,” Ryan explained with a

sincere and earnest look.

“I didn’t say I know her well enough, but you have to give me a chance to learn about her! Doesn’t the

saying go, birds of a feather flock together? I’m sure Catherine must be a nice person since Jasmine is.

I promise I won’t break her heart!”

“No way!” Ryan’s attitude was firm. He even went rigid.

“Why not?”

“I’ve said, no!”

Leonardo was taken aback by that. Even though his brother was usually strict, he was being

unreasonable right now.

Ryan was mature and responsible, so Leonardo always respected him and even admired him a little.

‘What’s wrong with Ryan today? Why does he stop me from asking Catherine out?’ Leonardo thought

to himself. Ryan’s rough attitude really pissed him

off

Out of impulse, he blurted the words that had been suppressed in his heart for years.

“Are we even real brothers? You would have agreed if I were Robert, right? But no matter how great

Robert is, no matter how much he looks like you, he’s not born from the same mother! You and I are!

So why do you always pick on me?”

“I…” Ever since he was young, his brothers and sisters always looked up to him, so Ryan had never

been questioned on his actions before.

The question Leonardo threw at him made Ryan realize that he was being unreasonable. Even he

himself couldn’t tell why he was so angry at his brother for pursuing Catherine.

Catherine was his woman, so it was inappropriate for her to date his brother.

“What nonsense are you talking about? I heard Catherine has a boyfriend. That’s why you can’t be

together,” Ryan responded with a much calmer tone.

“Since when did Catherine have a boyfriend I don’t even know? Where did you hear about it?” Jasmine

inquired strangely.

“I just took a wild guess. She probably has a

boyfriend since she’s so beautiful,” Ryan forced a reply, secretly hating Catherine for being so

troublesome.

It was all because of her. She intentionally seduced his younger brother so that she could ruin their

relationship! Ryan was ready to give her punishment for that later.

“You took a wild guess?” Leonardo was speechless at that. Wasn’t that just a baseless reason to stop

Leonardo from pursuing Catherine?

“Catherine, you have a boyfriend, right?” Ryan ignored Leonardo and asked Catherine.

If she dared to say that she didn’t have a boyfriend, he would make her life miserable!

At that moment, everyone’s eyes were focused on Catherine. Before this, Leonardo had already asked

Jasmine whether Catherine was single and

Jasmine’s answer was no.

But he was still worried. What if his sister-in-law didn’t know that she had a boyfriend?

Catherine opened her mouth, wanting to tell them the truth, but she didn’t want Ryan to be full of

himself if she said yes, and she was also worried that Jasmine would pester her for details.

In the end, she decided to avoid the question.
