Opening the car door with one hand, Damien threw Ava into the car without bothering to be gentle at all. As he slammed the car door shut, he said coldly, “Fasten your seat belt!” Ava immediately hummed in acknowledgment. She didn’t retort, which was rare, and fastened her seat belt obediently Damien started the car, and the atmosphere in the car was extremely strange.

Ava stared at the scenery outside the window, and there were complicated emotions in her heart.

Damien had parked the car at the entrance of the hospital and told her to get out. Moreover, he didn’t leave. Ever since I got pregnant, Damien listens to everything I say! He never has the heart to scold me. I heard that he doesn’t even smile whenever he’s with you. Am I right?” Ava tightened her grip on the strap of her handbag. She raised her head and looked at Beth with a sharp gaze. “Is that so? Since he loves the baby in your womb so much, why didn’t he accompany you for the prenatal checkup?” Beth’s expression froze, and she snorted. “It’s not like you don’t know that he dislikes hospital.
