Chapter 24 Strange Beautiful Woman

There was silence on the other end of the line. Then Sienna took a long sigh.

“I've heard more or less about you, that formula is worth no less than 50 million, right?”

Sienna's tone of voice regained its calmness.

“Right.

I'll take this formula as collateral. If you have the money, please do me a favor for once for the sake of

the Master. I will never let you lose out.”

Taking a deep breath, I didn't expect Sienna to be so well-informed.

“Matteo, I rarely persuade people, but for the sake of you being his disciple, listen to me, this is just a

means to pull in foreign investors. After the auction, it won't take long for the land price to fall. If the

investors' land can't go out, they can only come to R City to build their own houses and factories. This

is the usual trap of business, don't fall for it!”

I said into the phone.

“Sienna, thank you for the reminder, but I still decided that I will do this. If I lose, the formula will be

yours, and if I win, I will pay you double the interest.”

After a moment of silence, Sienna once again regained her coldness and said.

“You've really surprised me. Master was wrong at you. Send me the account number later. You can

She hung up the phone. I took a long sigh. Although everyone didn’t think the land of JB District was

good, from the point of view of urban planning and investment, it was right to invest!

At noon Clara and I had lunch and she took to the mall to buy me a suit, which was as expensive as

5000, but Clara did not hesitate and said it looked good on me.

I asked Clara to take me to the bank to get a card, and then I sent the card number to Sienna.

Although Sienna and I had never met, her efficiency was fast. In less than 2 hours, the text message

said the money had arrived.

The R City’s Government Enterprise Building was old, but it was a place of substance and majesty. It

The summit was officially opened at 1:30 pm.

After drinking the water, she pouted with jealousy, looked at the front row and said,

“My mom used to sit in the third row, but now I'm in the corner. Matteo, am I useless?”

I shook my head and looked at her, smiling earnestly.

“Sis, one day, you'll have a front row seat, and it'll be the first row, the one in the middle!”

Just after the words were said, the whole venue suddenly fell silent. I thought that it was about to start,

but it was not yet 2 o'clock.

Following the crowd's gaze, Clara and I turned our heads to look at the doorway. At that moment, I took

a breath!

How could there be such a beautiful woman?

She had her shoulder-length hair pulled back. She was noble with dark eyes.

She was as tall as Clara with fair skin. She was dressing in a long red dress, which made her look cold!

With the eyes of the crowd, the woman, surrounded by several men, walked to the first row of the

venue and took the seat in the very middle.

“Do you men all like that?”

Clara said coldly.

“Yes, What?”

“Heh!”

I scratch my head. It was appreciation of beauty.

Because I couldn't get it, I could only “appreciate” it. I was self-aware and I did not hold too much

thoughts.

“Sis, you're much prettier than her.”

I said sheepishly and in a whisper.

“Liar!”

She gave me an unhappy blank look and lowered her head slightly.

I did not lie to her. Clara was indeed beautiful, at least in my eyes.

If she wore one of those flashy dresses and that big sapphire around her neck, she must be no worse

It wasn't long before the summit kicked off and the moment the leaders were showed up, the scene

was once again set in motion!

Their clothing with the general grey fabric, Chinese-style design and the hidden gold pattern highlighted

the image of the calm and solemn leaders.

The fabric color was too beautiful. Some of the female investors, in particular, were talking about it

endlessly.

This was the biggest value for Clara to take this project, using the image of the leader to do publicity.

And there were mostly rich investors, and therefore it brought incalculable revenue.

The conference unfolded with speeches from the leaders. Although many people were drowsy from

listening, I kept my spirits up and didn't miss any useful information.

First, it opened with “The Textile City” and land development, so I concluded that the future of the

economy of R City will be focused on “textiles” and “real estate”.

Second, when the leader introduced the investment advantages of R City, I saw on the big screen the

industrial layout map of the city, which was divided into four districts, JB District, DG District, JX District

and Development Zone.

JX District and the development zone belonged to the industrial area and were adjacent to the

downtown. It focused on economic development these years, so the haze and air pollution had long

since affected the downtown. There were several prisons in GD District, so the downtown would not

move to there.

So I was assuming that relocation of downtown was definitely for real!

Pollution, after all, had been affecting the lives of citizens for a long time.

JB District was a “big rural area”, but it was with beautiful nature and clean air and far from two

industrial areas. It was the best place to relocate to the city center!

What was more, Master had said that R City, having accumulated a lot of money over the years by

So this downtown relocation was definitely for “urban transformation”!
