Chapter 1 A New Life
Laurel Lambert was reborn.
She died and found herself returned ten years ago. She was 22 again. novelbin

Laurel kept her eyes wide open until her last breath. She swore that she would memorize how
heartless Bruno was.

Laurel was clever and a woman of many talents. Yet, after marrying Bruno, Laurel had given up
everything and focused on being a good wife. She tried her best to help Bruno and his family achieve
greatness.
Laurel never imagined that Bruno would kill her. He destroyed the Lambert Group as a wedding gift for
his lover.
Laurel was in wrath.
She wanted to burn Bruno alive with her wrath.
Someone listened to her wishes.
A car accident had sent Laurel back in time. This year, she
hadn’t married Bruno.
Laurel bit her lip hard.
She stared at the man who hit her car. He was Hayden Gilbert, the third son of the Gilbert family, which
was the top of the Four Great Families in Lexingcester.
Hayden had a gorgeous face and a chiseled body. He was 188 cm tall and was the hottest man in
Rosegrad City.
Despite his strict household, Hayden was a famous pl ayboy. He indulged himself in all kinds of
pleasures. Laurel believed that the number of women Hayden had been with was bigger than the men

extravagant life Hayden had. However, in her last time, Bruno had never won against Hayden, not even

“Ms. Lambert, are you interested in me?” Hayden noticed Laurel’s stare. He glanced at her.
His husky voice had a special quality. Although his words. were flirtatious, they didn’t sound offensive.
“Yes.” Laurel snapped out of her trance and replied.
She said yes.

Hayden wasn’t the one who was the most shocked. Shelley Cooper, Laurel’s best friend, was. She
yelled as if her head was exploding. “Laurel, have you lost your mind?”
Hayden hid his emotion and smiled as if he wasn’t a part of this.
“Do you know who he is? Do you know what a pla yboy he is?” Shelley said. “Besides his good look, he
has no advantage. Why would you like him? Are you blind or something?!”
Laurel thought, “I was blind. Otherwise, I wouldn’t marry Bruno, who is a cun ning and vicious
hypocrite!”
Laurel and Shelley had come to Lime Hill to visit a church. On their way out, a red sports car crashed
into them. Luckily, the driver of the sports car had good reflexes and steered the wheel in time to avoid
running into Laurel’s car from the front. However, their cars crashed.
Both cars had minor grazes. But the passengers were fine.
Surprisingly, Laurel was reborn because of this car accident.
Laurel ignored Shelley. She looked at Hayden and said, “Do you have the guts to bring the bride away
at her wedding?”

“Laurel!” Shelley was going insane. She couldn’t understand. Although Hayden was handsome, why
would Laurel abandon her fiancé just like this?!
“My wedding is on the 18th of next month. Will you come?” Laurel said slowly, making sure that

It took Hayden a few seconds to recover from Laurel’s words.
Gradually, Hayden said aloofly, “Ms. Lambert, you should get your head checked.”
Hayden reached into the pocket of his black trousers.
He pulled out a bank card and carried it between his two fingers. He handed it to Laurel arrogantly. “I’ll
pay for the hospital bill.”
Laurel glanced at the black card.
Everyone knew how generous Hayden was. His every girlfriend had walked away with their pockets full
to the brim.
Laurel took the card.
A flicker of surprise was in Hayden’s eyes.
It was common knowledge in Rosegrad City that Laurel was a decent, wise, and self-disciplined
woman. She never hung out with pla yboys like Hayden. And all Laurel cared about was marrying
Bruno and being his good wife.
Laurel said, “I’ll take this as your betrothal gift.”
Shelley’s eyes were as wide as saucers.

Hayden pressed his perfect lips into a thin line before smiling. He didn’t say anything or show any
emotions.
Nobody knew whether Hayden had agreed with Laurel or maybe he was just waiting to see what
happened next.
“As long as you come to my wedding, I’ll leave with you,” Laurel said.
Laurel was answering Hayden’s question. But he asked her about that in her last life.
In Laurel’s last life, the night before her wedding, she was so excited that she couldn’t sleep.
At 4 a.m., someone called.
“Will you leave with me if I try to bring you away from the wedding?” As soon as Laurel picked up, the
person on the other end asked.
Laurel frowned. “Who is this?”
“Bruno isn’t a nice man,” the mysterious caller said.
“Who are you?”
“I’m not a nice man either.”
Then he hung up.
Laurel thought it was a prank from a drunk, so she didn’t take it to heart. By chance, she found out that

number belonged to Hayden. As the warning was from Hayden, Laurel didn’t mind it at all. She never
cared about play boys like Hayden. And her life had never crossed paths.

“No. I have a sound mind.” Laurel drove calmly.
She was so calm that she sounded a little cruel.
