Chapter 11 Infuriate All
In the hall of the old house.
Laurel continued after pausing for a while. “Well, Grandma, you must be wanting to talk about my
marriage with Bruno, right?”
Wendy was stunned. She didn’t expect Laurel to guess the right answer.
This wasn’t something Laurel experienced in her previous life because what happened last night didn’t
occur and neither did the trending topics. The reason why she could guess it was that these people had
been colluding with the Scott family to take over her right of inheritance.
Laurel embarrassed the Scott family, so Wendy had to seek. justice for them and teach Laurel a
lesson.
Laurel’s toughness surprised Wendy. Wendy felt ashamed just after a few words she said.
“I may as well tell you the truth. I indeed took Hayden’s gem last night and disgraced Bruno in public.”
As she was speaking, Laurel took out the shining sapphire.
The gem had dazzling light and flawless carvings. Along with its rarity and long history, the sapphire
made all women crazy about it, and even Wendy couldn’t help taking a few more looks.
However, on Wendy’s face was disdain for Laurel. “How dare you say that. Shame on you!”

She was going to say “if that’s what you think”, but she held back.
Laurel didn’t give Wendy the chance to take back her words.
Wendy just glared at Laurel and the shining sapphire on her finger. She wanted it so much.
“Stop showing off! Do you think Wendy is a snobbish. person?” Belle interrupted to feed into her

Wendy swallowed. “I don’t care why you took Hayden’s gem and I don’t have time to find out the
reason. I’m just warning you that you must not screw up your marriage. You can’t find another good
guy like Bruno once you miss him. You’d better know what you should do!”
“Grandma, I don’t need you to worry about my marriage.”
“Do you think I want to do that? I’m just worried that the marriage will be canceled. Do you think Bruno
would marry no one other than you?” Wendy belittled Laurel as much as she could whenever she had
a chance.
