Blanca was frightened by Kermit’s aura.
She protected Laurel behind her.
Laurel’s eyes turned gloomy.
Kermit was going to slap Laurel in the face.
Laurel took out her phone and shouted at Kermit. “I’ll sue you if you dare to even touch me! I mean it!”
Kermit’s hand froze in the air.
“I’m recording a video. Do you still dare to slap me?” asked Laurel.
Kermit was trembling from anger; however, he didn’t slap Laurel.
“Dad.” Seth pulled him. “Don’t condescend yourself to her level. She just holds sway as a villain and
will be punished someday.”
Kermit put down his hands.
He swore at Laurel. “Your family will die a horrible death one day.””

Belle blushed from the sarcasm.

She didn’t even realize that it was Laurel’s trap to make her say those words.

Gemma left after cursing Avril again.
Seth and Belle disdained Avril as well. They left without stopping, leaving only Avril in the spa c ious
hall.
Avril didn’t have to pretend to be sympathetic when there was no one around.
She sneered.
The Lambert family would adopt her idea as she expected while she wouldn’t be as kind as she
seemed to be. She would wait until Gemma sought her demise and then replace.

“But where did your confidence come from? You insulted your grandmother in front of her. You even
distorted her expression.”
“That’s because she was going too far,” said Laurel, “Mom, don’t follow the so-called moralities.
Grandma doesn’t deserve your respect.”
Wendy tried every way possible to hurt Blanca even if Blanca respected her!
“Your grandmother is indeed mean to me, but she’s your father’s mother after all. I don’t want your
father to be caught in between.”
“Don’t worry, I just make Grandma lose the gut to hurt you, and I won’t…” She wouldn’t kill Wendy!
