“I’ll die before I apologize to Laurel!” Nellie shouted in the hall.
“I’m not kidding you.” Bruno wasn’t even listening to Nellie’s explanation.
“Laurel beat me up. Why should I apologize to her? She is the one who should apologize to me!”
“Because she didn’t beat you up and you lied,” Bruno said slowly.
