Laurel just woke up and was sitting on the toilet when she received Shelley’s call.
Shelley was excited. “Laurel, did you read the news today?”
Laurel was going to do that.
“Your sweethearts Bruno and Hayden were both in trending topics!”
“Who told you that Bruno is my sweetheart?” Laurel said in a fit of anger.
“Do you mean you prefer Hayden?” Shelley teased her.
“Shelley!” Laurel didn’t know what to say to her.
Shelley’s laughter was dramatic. “Anyways, check the news now. I found it interesting.”
Then, Shelley hung up.
Laurel knew what the reports would be about without thinking.
They were bound to be comments on Hayden and Bruno!
