Chapter 12: ten

She bites her lip to stop herself from moaning out in pleasure at his sweet torture. Both of their bodies

pressed against each other.

Suddenly she feels his lips leave her skin making her feel empty all of a sudden.

He rests his head against her forehead. Trailing a hand down her arms, he speaks up.

"Did his touch make you feel this good on your skin?" His hands left a trail of spark along the way. She

bit her lips again, willing herself not to moan out, giving him the satisfaction for his actions.

"Answer me fiore" he presses her for an answer. His lips hover over her shoulder against her sweet

annoyance. She unwraps her legs from around his waist but he doesn't move away from her body.

"Is this about that mutt? Huh?" He growls out, his teeth grinding against eachother with anger. He

wanted to end that little fuckers pathetic life. Adryan could feel his eyes switching colors.

She remains silent not wanting to give him any answers but continues to push him away but fails

miserably because he wasn't even moving an inch with her efforts. He was a giant compared to her.

More muscles and he stood there tall and rigid like a steel door.

Her silence was enough for him to answer his questions.

"Stop fighting" he grits out making her halt in her actions.

"Why don't you just reject me? Surely we both don't want to be together." She speaks up suddenly. It

was a complete white lie. They both wanted each other but kept fighting it. Jade didn't want to push him

into anything he wasn't comfortable with. If he didn't want her, they both could come to a mutual

agreement and reject each other for good. The thought of rejection caused sadness to hit her.

Adryan was confused. He didn't want to be with her and cause her more pain but he couldn't fight off

his growing feeling for her.

Thinking about making the painful process of rejection easier, she decides to take the initiative.

" I Jade Estrada, daughter of-" she couldn't even finish her sentence before she felt him growl

thunderously.

He grips her shoulder tightly.

"Rejection isn't an option here" he grits out with anger clouding his senses. "Do you understand?" She

remains silent.

"Do you understand?" He bellows making her jump in fear.

"Yes" she manages to whisper out despite her fear of him. She feels a single tear slide down her face.

She felt the cold air hit her half naked body as she felt him move away from her figure.

She heard the slamming of the door seconds later indicating that he had left her, and that now she was

alone in her room once again.

"I suppose your date went well?" Violet's sudden question makes Jade halt in her actions. They were

both currently working in the kitchen. Jade had been kneading the dough for the garlic bread they had

decided to prepare for the dinner meanwhile Violet had been baking some cookies for the pups.

"Yes" Jade replies. Infact her date had went extremely well.

"I think it went a little too well" Violet speaks up again, but this time Jade could feel the teasing tone

behind her words. Violet's lips tremble, suppressing her urge to laugh.

"What? Why do you say that?" Jade felt confused at her words. Was there something she was missing

out on?

Violet pauses for a second, deciding whether she should just tell Jade or not about the thing most of

the omega's were staring at her before for, when they had entered the pack kitchen. Jade had felt their novelbin

stares but she'd thought that it had something to do with her being blind.

"Oh honey, with that amount of hickeys on your neck, anyone would think that. And besides, those

hickeys aren't subtle either." Violet's words causes Jade's eyes to widen in both surprise and shock.

Violet knew that it wasn't Nate who had given her those hickeys. Jade wasn't the type to throw herself

at men and give herself to someone so easily at their first date. This was the doing of a certain Alpha.

Violet's smile widens when she takes note of Jade's expression. Poor thing didn't even realise that she

had been walking around with huge hickeys around her neck all day.

Jade's cheeks turn red with embarrassment, as she tried to hide her neck by tugging the collar of the

dress she had on, causing Violet to finally burst out laughing at her embarrassment.
