Chapter 8 Dimitri:

| waited in the bedroom, glaring at the door as Charlotte walked inside before a low growl echoed through the walls of the bedroom, reminding her of my presence as her Alpha. She froze for a second, looking down at her feet as she did before taking a deep breath.

Her chest rose and fell for a few seconds before she looked up at me.

“What was the meaning of what you did?” | asked, glaring at her and she frowned as she looked up at me. Her heart raced, and she glared at me, her eyes hardening more than | thought that they ever could.

the woman whose heart raced as she processed my words. She clenched her fist a few times, and | growled. “Should | get that
