Chapter 11
Revenge. Thats what I wanted right now.
Tied on a chair with ropes and the fire to escape running in my veins.
This was unbelievable.
The person I loved and trusted my whole life betrayed me.
Why?
Only because of power.

Flashback
I went to Dorian's room and locked the windows and the door. I felt useless knowing that my father's
pack had attacked and I couldn't do anything.
Tightening the hold of my arms around my chest, I snuggled closer to myself wanting this to be a
nightmare which would soon end.
And then suddenly there was a loud bang on the window. I closed my eyes pretending that it was just
my hallucination. But no it banged again and this time I gathered myself and stood up with the potential
to kill that person's guts.
I peeked from the window, relieved to see John.
I opened it for him to come in.
" Come on Sydney quick, Dorian asked me to take you to a place where you will be safe" he told me
motioning his hand for me to take.
Without thinking anything, I took his hand and followed him in the forest to a black jeep. I sat in the
backseat with John, and the driver started driving.
I looked out of the window, not uttering a word, because I couldn't feel anything but helpless at that

"Here Sydney drink some water and don't worry you'll be safe with me" John told me.
I took the water bottle from him, gulping it in my dry throat and soon darkness took over me.

My eyes opened to a dark room, with me tied on a chair. I looked at my surroundings, wanting to be in
the arms of my mate, and just then the door opened.
And came in John, with an evil smirk plastered on his face.
"John did you do this?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper.
On hearing my voice his smirk grew wide and he nodded his head.
"But why? Who asked you to do this ? I know you could not do this, you are a nice man" I asked..
He came close to me and took out a silver knife from his pocket. He touched it with his hands and
started roaming around my chair in a circle.
" Oh Sydney, Oh Sydney, in this world money and power comes first and love is just a weakness that
made your mother trust me."
And when Alpha Salvatore, oh I must mention he is your father asked me to bring his dearest daughter
to him so he could marry you to his son Ryker, I couldn't deny him because the money he offered me in
return could last my whole life" he spat.
"But why, why does he want to marry me to his son?" I asked with tears now forming in my eyes.
" Because you have alpha blood and Ryker also has alpha blood, and Ryker can only have pups if he
mates to an alpha blood whereas Ryker's mate is a rogue" he answered in his filthy voice.
I closed my eyes, not wanting the tears to flow.
But then I heard the door opening again, I opened my eyes to see a black figure coming in.
"Alpha Ryker" John bowed to him, and I clenched my fists.
"You can now leave us alone." He told John and John immediately closed the door and went out.
My heart raced with fear as I felt him getting close to me.
I felt his hands on my chin and push my face up so my eyes met his.
His disgusting face looked at me with pure amusement.
"Hello my soon to be wife."
