Chapter 5
My wolf was beaming with excitement while my heart raced with nervousness. I felt him take a step
closer to me and immediately took a step back. We continued doing this until I felt my back touch the
wall.
His eyes now stared into mine intensly as his arms gripped my waist. I tried to keep my gaze on the
floor but the next second I knew his hands pulled up my chin until my eyes met his. My body was on
fire. His finger came up to towards my face and he caressed my cheek and then slowly traced my lips.
"I missed you my love." He whispered as he slowly placed his lips on my cheek.
"Stop..." I said as I placed my hands on his chest.
"I....I cant do this." I told him.
He looked at me with confusion in his eyes but before he could say something, I ran downstairs.
I don't know what did just happen.

Through the rest of the dinner i could feel Dorian's intense stare on me. He was sitting in front of me
and was constantly putting his foot on top of mine and me being me, I completely ignored it like it was
nothing.
But after sometime when the weight of his foot on mine started to hurt, I stamped my foot hard on his.
He quickly yanked his foot back which caused the table to move. Everyone lookedat Dorian while i tried
hard to hold my laugh.
After dinner everyone sat on the couch while my mom was serving the molten lavas she made. I was
lost in the chocolate of the molten lava when Dorians father cleared his throat. Everyone looked at him
including me.
"Now i would like to tell you the reason that we came here. As the alphas mate, Sydney would have to
move in with Dorian." He declared firmly.
"But mom..." I looked at her pleadingly.
"No dear its a mandatory for a mate to live with her mate and don't worry you are like my daughter.
We'll take care of you and fill the kitchen cupboards with nutella." Marindas mom smiled at me.
I could feel Dorians intense stare on me.

Today was the day I was gonna move in with Dorian.
All my bags were packed and I was ready to go. Well no I wasn't ready to go but I had no choice. I tried
to convince my mom but she couldn't do anything. It was just that this was all so new to me and I feel
we were moving too quickly.
I looked at my room one last time. I had decorated it with so much hard work. I was definitely gonna novelbin
miss it.
I went downstairs and hugged mom and John. I tried to hide my tears but it was just too impossible and
soon they both had engulfed me in a hug.
The bell rang and John bought Dorian inside.
I wasn't gonna talk to him. I was extremely mad at him. How could he make this decision without even
asking me. I put on my ear phones as we sat in the car so I wouldn't have to engage in a conversation
with him.
But half way through the ride, he placed his hand on my thigh. I quickly pushed it off but then he did it
again and then I again pushed it off and it
And it was then that I heard a growl.
"Don't test me Sydney!" He growled.
"Me, i'm testing you? Its you who have forced me to move in with you!" I said with frustration.
"This is the first and last time that i'm telling you this. You are mine and I can touch you whenever I
want. I have waited for you for three years and I cant sleep knowing that you are in your house
unprotected." He growled.
His tone was so dominant that I decided it was best I didn't argue.
Soon we reached the house. Dorian motioned a guard to bring my luggage. He then held my hand and
led me inside.
I was greeted by a homey smell inside and soon came Dorians mom in an apron. I greeted her and
then hugged Marinda who came following her mother.
"Come on sweetie i'm making lunch. Go freshen up yourself and then come to eat" she told me.
"Come on ill take you to the room" Dorian informed me. front of the black and white room.
"But this is your room?" It came out more like a question.
"So?" He asked.
"I need my own room." I stated.
"No you don't." He whispered as he placed a kiss on my cheek.
