Chapter 20

Today was the day I was to be mated to the alpha.

I stood in front of the mirror looking at my reflection as the maids were taking my size for the robe I was

to wear tonight.

I couldn't imagine this.

Was I ready?

This was the question that kept roaming in my mind.

I couldn't say no or yes because my answer was somewhere in between.

I came out of my thoughts when a maid bought a phone for me.

"Who's it? " I asked.

" Luna Grace" she smiled.

Okay?

" Hello" I spoke.

"Hi dear , how are you?" Her sweet voice chirped.

" I don't know " I replied, utterly confused with my blunt reply.

" I know dear that's why I called you. Now do as I say."

"Okay?"

"Go in your room and open Dorians suitcase."

"Done?" She asked.

"Yes" I replied, utterly confused.

"Now open the smallest pocket and you will find the answer to all your questions." The phone was

dismissed.

I did as she told and came across a small diary.

I opened it with my hands trembling.

'My Daily Diary' read the first page.

I kept on flipping the pages reading in between some of them until I came to the day he met me.

'Dear diary today I found my mate. My dream has come true. She resembles like an angel, her eyes

are magical , her smile makes me go wild, I can't stop thinking about her. She is all that is on my mind.'

I flipped some more pages.

'Dear diary, yesterday I marked my mate without her consent and I can't come to face myself. She

wasn't ready and I made her endure so much pain. I would never force her to mate with me now.'

Curiosity was killing me now and I moved to yesterday's date.

'Dear diary yesterday I told her that I'm gonna mate with her on my wolf's begging and also had a

sexual intercourse with her but tomorrow when the night comes for me to mate with her, I'm gonna ask

her if she wants to mate with me and if she replies with a no I'm gonna let her go and let her live the life

she wants because nothing is more important to me compared to her hapiness.'

I closed the diary ,my eyes full of tears. I couldn't believe my mate who was known to be the most

fearful alphas in the world was going to let his wolf die only on my decision.

I was so ready to mate.

Night arose and I felt like the most confident girl in this world.

Marinda and me were currently heading towards dinner now. We hadn't seen Dorian or Alyan since

morning since it was a tradition that mates won't see each other till the moon comes.

The dinner was situated along the waterfall where we could get a wonderful view of the magestic

scenery infront of us.

The dinner was eaten in silence because of two reasons: the tension in the atmosphere and the

delicious Mexican food.

The food was almost at the end when I glanced at Dorian to find him staring at me. His eyes held no

emotions and he stared at me with a blank expression.

"What?" I asked him.

" I need to talk to you after this" he spoke calmly.

"But I need to change in my robe." I replied with an innocent expression.

He banged his hands on the table, trying to control his emotions.

He closed his eyes and then spoke through a dangerously calm alpha tone.

" We need to talk."

"Okay" I replied trying to hide my smile.

We we were currently on the beach with water flowing beneath us.

We two had a good distance from each other and this time it was Dorian who had mantained it.

I looked at him and found him staring intensly at me.

"You wanted to talk?" I asked, fiddling with my hands.

"Okay Sydney, it's been a month since we found each other and you have made me a whole different

person during this time. This was the best time of my life. I used to be the person who didn't had

patience to resist. My hands smelt of blood and my mouth of beer. You have made me meet my inner

self which was being ignored and needed my attention the most. Thank you so much. " he said his

eyes twitching with an emotion unknown to me.

Unbelievable.

"Dori...." I started but he stopped me.

" No let me speak. Now here comes the most difficult part. You have shown me a new side of the world

but I have been the bad guy and have marked you without your consent , touched you without your

consent, kissed you without your consent and now I was going to mate with you without your consent.

But no if you are not ready you can leave and never come back and I won't even try to find you on the

cost that you promise to take care of yourself."

He was on his knees and I could literally see tears in his eyes which he was trying his best to hide.

"Bye Sydney, you have been the most wonderful part of my life but I think good times are not forever."

With that being said, he stood up and started walking on the opposite direction.

I couldn't believe this. I knew that without a mate an Alpha nearly died and he was willing to do this just

for my happiness. I coudnt believe how much I had underestimated him and it was at that moment that

I realised I was truly and unexpectedly in love with him.

"Dorian" I ran after him.

He turned around his head.

"Oh you must want your clothes, I'll bring ........" But before he could complete his sentence I had my

mouth on him.

I wrapped my legs around him and kissed him in the most longing way and he did the same, a little

surprised though.

We both break away breathless.

"I am ready to mate" I whispered.

Soon I found pinned on the bedroom wall with a half naked Dorian over me.

"Are you sure?" He asked me for the hundredth time.

"Yes" I replied.

"Then we shouldn't waste our time" he whispered against my neck.

With in seconds my shirt was off, followed by my bra, with his hands roaming all over.

I took off his pants while he did mine. novelbin

"Fiery or calm?" He asked.

Oh my goodness.

"Fiery " I whispered.

He put me on his shoulders and carried me on the bed, where I witnessed the most fiery and

passionate night of my life.
