Chapter 9 : Two Years Later 

Two years later - (Anaya age 18)

"Anaya! Did you get the dresses from the store?!" A loud voice echoed in the house.

"They are kept in Charlotte's room." Anaya said as she came out into the living room with three glasses of water.She placed the three glasses down and left without looking up.

Tomorrow was Charlotte's birthday and she was turning twelve and it was a big event.

This was the age when the werewolf get their wolf and it was a big celebration.

The celebration was going to be held publicly and all the kids who were twelve years of age will be celebrating their new phase in life.Since Charlotte was the youngest, they decided to do the party at her birthday.

Ginny brought over some friends to her house so they could discuss about the arrangement of the party.

Anaya went back to the kitchen to finish the dishes.She was back from the Alpha's house and was exhausted but house work couldn't be put aside.

Anaya lifted her hand to put on the gloves when she spotted the bruises on her wrist.

Flashbacks of the things that she had to suffer in the Alpha's house started to take over her vision go away.

Goosebumps appeared all over her body.

Anaya poured a glass of water for herself and gulped it down in one breath.She hurriedly covered her hand with the long sleeves and slowly calmed down.

Anaya never thought that working at the Alpha's house was going to be easy.She was prepared for a lot of thing, but she was not prepared for the arrival of the Alpha's son.

After a year of working at there, Anaya was getting used to her schedule.She was balancing out her life pretty well.

The pay went to her mother but after a few months Luna Esther increased her pay to twenty dollars and the five dollar a week was left with Anaya.

Anaya saved that money and started to dream about leaving Blue stone pack forever. novelbin

However, six months ago the Alpha's son, David, came back.

It was said that the Alpha sent him over to his maternal grandparents many years ago so he could get better at managing the pack.

Anaya didn't know how much of it was true, but she definitely didn't see him as a good person.

Because on the very first day of his arrival, he tried to sexually assault her.

Anaya was scared to the bones.She thought her life was gonna end that day.

She was cornered by him in the laundry room and she could only see his sinister smile and his dirty eyes raking all over her body.

Anaya knew it was useless to scream but she still screamed the pack who came back along with the David.

But they didn't come to help her.

Anaya would have ended herself if anything happened to her that day.

Fortunately the housekeeper lady arrived in time and saved Anaya from David.

Anaya wanted to believe that Luna Esther didn't know about her son's behaviour and wanted to complain.

But when Anaya went and told Luna Esther about her son's behaviour, she only gave Anaya a little money and told her to forget about it.

She didn't even scold him or educate him about his actions.

Disappointed, Anaya went home that day with the little money she was given.

Although she felt humiliated upon being given the money in exchange of almost being raped, Anaya didn't have a choice.She wasn't going to throw the money and leave with her pride.She needed that money to leave this place.

Anaya stored away the two thousand dollars that night and told her parents about what happened.

Anaya didn't want to work at the alpha's house after that.She could work somewhere else and make more money for them but they didn't care.

They wanted her to work at the Alpha's house even if her dignity was at risk.

Anaya was forcefully taken back to the Alpha's house the very next day.

The housekeeper lady was there and Anaya kept herself close in fear.

Although he didn’t repeat the exact thing again, he kept touching her at every occasion he could find and overall disgusting her to no limit.

Anaya clenched her teeth and washed the dishes at home.

The new bruise was added after he grabbed her hand when she was serving lunch.

The Alpha and Luna were both present but pretended not to see their son grabbing her.She had little hopes from Jonas, who was David's friend and the future Beta.

He always remained silent when David did these things to her.

Although he never participated, he didn't stop his friend either.

Anaya was equally disgusted by all of them.

Since the party was about to take place the next day, Anaya took the leave from work.

It was a relief to Anaya, although it meant that she would be reduced into a slave tomorrow.

After finishing off the work, Anaya went to the living room to collect all the glasses and dishes.

Charlotte was gone for her special class like always and would come home late.

Anaya wasn't told which special classes she takes but it was so important that Charlotte was allowed to miss school for it.

Anaya was never treated like a family member anyway, so telling her these thing were not important.

Charlotte arrived home from the classes in a good mood after Ginny's friends left.

Anaya watched from the side as Charlotte crashed into Ginny's embrace and told her about the day.

"I learnt a new skill today!"

Charlotte giggled, "Master praised me today after I hit the twenty meters mark! The shot went right through!"

Ginny caressed her daughter and praised lovingly, "My daughter is born to be that good.Whatever you do is going to be the best!"

Anaya silently left the room, wondering what lessons Charlotte was being given in secret.
