Chapter 14 - I shouldn`t have fucked you.

Raina Williams.

"Derrick Collin's is not guilty because everyone is innocent till proven guilty..." I muttered to myself as i was planning my testimonial speech as his lawyer. For the past week I had drowned myself with more and more work because I didn't want to think about it. In a swift moment of aggravation I crumpled the paper and threw it anywhere it landed in my office. What's wrong with me why am I being fazed by this ? If Angelo of wants to marry Yaya he can marry her. What I need right now is the weekend off with my babies. Ashton and Ashley are my pride and joy.

"Nadia ?" I called with my office landline.

"Yes, Miss. Williams..?"

"Can you reschedule my meetings for Monday."

"Yes but is everything okay...it's just you never take a day off from your court cases."

"I just miss my family that's all. Can you book three business class tickets to Ohio as soon as possible." I said slumping into my seat.

"Okay Miss-"

"Just Raina, Nadia."

"Okay Raina." I immediately set the phone down. I had to pick my the twins and tell Maya to pack clothes for the weekend. I missed my little brother Kyle he is eighteen now and soon he will be attending Colombia University of New York. I guess I was homesick I just wanted to be with my mom. I left the office and went to Park town to pick up the twins, they had recently started school. I can't believe it, they were just babies and couldn't even walk now they are in school.

When I parked my car at the visitor's parking, i couldn't believe it. I didn't want to see him why is he here...

Because his their father.

I got out of my car, straightening my skirt. I walked towards where Angelo stood with Ashton and Ashley well and some other kids. They were dressed in their cute uniform which consisted of grey tunics and maroon blazers and maroon ribbons for girls ; grey pants white shirt and maroon blazers for the boys. My eyes met his eyes and I quickly looked away. Ashton and Ashley ran into my arms and I hugged them tightly.

"Mommy.." They both squirmed.

"Hi sweetie." I kissed them both on their foreheads.

I stood up straight getting ready to meet Angela's glare.

"Uhm hey.." I awkwardly greeted him not meeting his eyes.

"Kids why don't you run up to Daddy's car, i bought you something..."

"Yayyyy.." They cheered running off to Angelo's brand new car, i presume. He had a tendency of buying new cars anytime of the month, just because he wanted to.

"Uhm Raina..." He awkwardly scratched his neck.

"I thought I was the one picking them up today..." I said as we walked back to my car.

"Yes but Yasmine wanted to take them to dinner with us." He said and I couldn't hide the aggravated look I had on my face.

"Well okay.." I said calmly. "Just bring them back tomorrow early in the morning we have a flight to take.."

"A flight..?" He raised an eyebrow, he always looked so good looking in a suit.

"I'm spending the weekend in Ohio with them-"

"Is everything okay Raina ?"

"Everything is fine why ?"

"You only go to Ohio when you are avoiding a problem like-"

I didn't want him to finish the sentence, i was exhausted and I just wanted to be away from him. His very strong cologne didn't help either.

"No I'm just home sick."I shrugged opening my car door but immediately shut it when I remembered I had to say bye to the twins.

"Let me just kiss them goodbye." I said going towards his car.

"Baby cakes, tonight you will spend the night with your daddy then tomorrow we will see uncle Kyle and -"

"Mommy but I don't want to see.." Ashton frowned.

"Aunt Yaya...she is a meanie." Ashley finished her brother's sentence.

"She always says mean things about you mommy.." Ashley frowned.

"She did what ?" Angelo intervened.

"It doesn't matter baby cakes have fun okay and she is your second mommy. Daddy loves her so you have to like her too." I said softly kissing them both on their foreheads. When I was about to turn back, Angelo pulled me back.

"Why are you acting like this ?" He asked.

"Acting like what ?" I asked.

"You know what forget it."

"I knew I shouldn't have fucked you. You are all up in your feelings now." He spat and I couldn't fathom why he would say something like that. It's true though ?

"Can we not talk about it, never ever." I continued walking towards my car and I could here his footsteps right behind me.

"I want to talk about it." I deadpanned making me roll my eyes.

"We are in public, Angelo please behave." I forced a smile when some parents were going into the school. Ashton and Ashley were in Angelo's car playing... always so care free

"Behave ?! Do you seriously care about what anyone thinks because I don't. I could fuck you senseless right here, right now Raina." He said stepping closer which sent shivers to my spine. He always had that effect on me but I would never let him know that.

"Yes, behave Angelo and stop speaking like that should stop considering

you are in a relationship." I said taking a deep breath.

"You are right." He said in a frustrated strained voice. It seemed like he was in conflict with himself. Well I wasn't expecting that but it's okay.

"Yes, I am." I faked a smile.

Suddenly Grayson called making me silently thank him from saving me from this awkwardness. "Gray ?" I picked up the phone looking at the other direction. novelbin

"Hey, it's Friday wanna hang out ? If you are babysitting or working then I'm bringing the fun to you." He said enthusiastically making me smile, my mood could use some cheering up!

"Uhm yes, Angelo is taking the twins so I will be there." I smiled.

"Perfect, see you at Seven." He said excitedly, i could literally picture him all happy with a toothy smile.

"Sure." I hanged up the phone finding Angelo still in the very same spot but only fuming with anger.

"Boyfriend?" He asked.

"I have to leave besides don't make Yaya wait too long. Whatever it is we will talk about it another time." I genuinely smiled.

"Uhm yeah. Bye." He awkward walked away, not knowing if we should hug or do a handshake.

"BYE. " I muttered more to myself as i opened the car door.
