After agreeing on the details with Luke, Selena walked out of the Olympus Group alone.
Olympus Group’s staff were all a bit surprised to see a young girl with long hair and eye-catching
features walking out of the lift reserved for the boss of the company.
“Who is this? A new employee? Which department is she from?”
“I don’t know, she walked out of Mr Jordan’s lift, what’s her relationship with Mr. Jordan?”
Leaving the whispered voices of doubt behind, Selena walked to the roadside drink shop and bought a
glass of lime water, holding it and sitting on the roadside lounger.
She looked up at the blue-coloured sky of Creephia and missed her home country.
The sky there is also such a blue colour
But it gives a far less peaceful and serene feeling.
It is a place where even the air smells cold and clear.
There were her family, her friends, everything she had risked her life to protect.
When she was too ill to see the wind, she used to sit like this in her glass bower, looking up at the blue
sky, and occasionally seeing the majestic eagles flying with their wings.
One day her feet will set foot on her homeland again, bringing home the heroes who died in vain and
placing them in the Monument of Heroes with her own hands.
Selena took a sip of chilled lime water, suppressing the thoughts churning in her heart, and gave a
warm smile to the sky novelbin
The mobile phone in her bag vibrated, Selena looked at it, the screen was flashing a note – “Hubby”.
She was surprised, and chuckled at the title.
Selena had lost her mobile phone before, and in order to prevent the Riddle family and the Walson
family from harassing her, she didn’t deliberately go looking for it.
This mobile phone was give to her by Osvaldo when she went out this morning.
Hubby.
Funny.
Selena stared at the address for a few seconds, before she pressed the answer button.
Olympus Group.
Luke gazed at Selena’s back in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, the corners of his eyes lifting
slightly.
He turned around, fetched the remote control on the table and pressed it.
The curtain on the wall rises and on the huge screen, a man dressed in black appears.
He sat on the sofa, with deep dark eyes and a face as handsome as it could be, without a trace of
expression.
Long, slender fingers rest on his knees, and there is an air of dignity all over his body.
Luke held the glass of water and said with interest, “You woman is really something.”
A multinational company as big as Olympus Group’s is enough to clothe and feed a person for several
lifetimes, and she says she doesn’t want it, such drive and heart is not something that anyone can
have.
Darkness seemed to freeze in Osvaldo’s eyes, and he gave Luke a cold glance, “If she lose a single
hair in Olympus Group, I will tear you apart.”
Luke felt a pain in his cheeks, and was keenly aware that the mood of Osvaldo did not seem to be
good.
Was it because his wife had not received his bride price?
Is the bride price that important now that she’s married to him?
Luke spat inwardly, but under the oppressive gaze of absolute power, he seemed to goad without
hesitation and said with a smile, “She is your beloved wife, who would dare to give her the slightest bit
of grief within Creephia?”
In response, he was greeted by the sound of a door slamming from across the room.
In the castle gardens, two rows of imposing black-clad men stood solemnly.
A reserved and powerful man in black stepped out, stepped into his car and left.

Selena put on her headphones and elegantly straightened her skirt, her voice soft with a smile, “What’s
wrong?”
The low voice of Osvaldo came through the phone, “Where are you?”
Selena froze, followed by a faint warmth in her heart.
Like was his man, so she guesses he was worried that she would be given a hard time by the
company, and called at the right time to show his
concern.
She left without driving.
He was worried about her.
After all, Creephia is a city that is not at all friendly to Selena.
Selena stood up with the lime water in her hand and stepped on her high heels in the direction of the
Olympus Group, her lips carried a smile, “I’ll be back soon.”
Osvaldo said okay, “Let know if you need help.”
“Okay.”
Selena removed her headphones and was just about to walk towards the Olympus Group when a
luxury car suddenly blocked in front of her.
In the car sat a glorious man and woman, the man handsome, the woman delicate, looking like a loving
couple.
Selena crumpled the paper cup in her hand into a ball and casually threw it into the rubbish bin at the
roadside.
Leah looked at Selena worriedly and asked with concern, “Are you alright, Sis? Where have you been
staying these past few days? Mum is very worried about you, she has called you many times and you
haven’t answered, Dominic, let’s take my sister home.”
She said, tugging at Dominic with her hand, her eyes rippling with watery mist looking at him, full of
pleading.
Dominic looked at Selena and narrowed his eyes slightly.
In fact, in the past few days, he had been sending people to look for Selena in private.
Even if he did not care about how Selena was doing, it would be a lie to say that he was not impressed
by the twenty percent of shares in her hands.
But she had not been found.
Dominic indifferently swept Selena a glance, even though he wanted to listen to her mother and be
somewhat kind to her for the time being, the habit he had cultivated for a long time still made him
subconsciously utter sarcastically, “She may not care for our help, why bother with it?” Leah bit her lip,
“But my sister is alone and stranded, she grew up spoiled and can’t do anything, she definitely can’t
find a job-”
Just as she said this, she was suddenly interrupted by laughter, “How do you know Lady Selena can’t
find a job?”
Selena raised her head, looked at the man who had suddenly appeared.
Luke’s thin red lips hooked in an enchanting arc, “Lady Selena, a whole bunch of people from Olympus
Group are waiting for you, why are you here to seek for peace and quiet?”
Selena smiled, “I have an injury, I can’t take up my post for now, Mr. Jordan, please forgive me.”
Leah’s expression froze as her eyes became startled and uncertain.
There is no one in Creephia who does not know Luke.
Especially when he is the number one enemy of the the Riddle family and the Walson family in the
mall!
She spoke softly, her tone taking on a few icy tones as she said with a smile, “Mr. Jordan, are you
mistaken about something? My sister is Selena Riddle, she is young and doesn’t know anything, you
won’t get any benefit at all from inviting her into Olympus Group, if only to see the Riddle family’s joke,
there is absolutely no need.”
On the surface, these words look dignified and decent, defending Selena in every way, but they are
sinister in intent. She was telling Luke that Selena, whose surname is Riddle, and the Riddle family is
the deadly rival of Olympus Group.
