In the hall, everyone’s eyes were drawn to the scene in shock.
Molly, who had just helped Leah down from the stairs, saw Dominic being beaten and immediately
accused, “Selena, you repeatedly hit people, how can you be so rude?”
Selena did not show the slightest panic on her face, she coldly gave a glance at Molly, “Shut up!”
Molly was horrified by the seeping coldness in her eyes, “You-”
But inexplicably she did not dare to say more harsh words.
Selena swept her eyes at Leah, who looked flustered but with deep complacency in her eyes, and
smiled, her pleasant voice clearly audible throughout the room, “Cyril, I am here for your sake, but it
doesn’t mean I’ll stand here and be humiliated by Dominic!”
It was not until this moment that Dominic noticed a sharp pain in his forehead, and when he raised his novelbin
eyes again, he found that the eyes of everyone in the hall were staring at him with different
expressions.
Mrs. Walson, who was serving her guests with a glass of wine, had a fierce look in her eyes, wanting to
eat him alive.
On top of the high platform, both Cyril and Brodie were looking at him, one with a deep pale face and
disappointed eyes, the other with a grim look of anger on his face.
Remembering Brodie’s warning, Dominic’s mind, dizzy with anger, snapped awake.
His face turned unpleasant as he glared viciously at Selena.
The previous Selena was so used to being submissive that she never got angry no matter how Dominic
treated her.
Dominic had just been overwhelmed by Leah’s words and thought that this was the same Selena who
had loved him so much despite everything, and was angered by her superior and breezy attitude that
he lost his mind.
Or maybe he subconsciously never thought that one day, Selena would actually hit him in public!
After a dead silence, the crowd returned to their senses and asked questions.
“Selena, what are you doing?”
“Selena, you’re a guest and you actually dare to hit Dominic?!”
“Selena, you’ve gone too far! Today is Cyril’s birthday, Cyril is so kind to you, can’t you stop making a
scene?!”
Selena stood at the same spot, a trace of coldness surfaced in her eyes, and was just about to speak,
but a playful voice interjected.
“Well done!”
Dominic’s eyes jumped fiercely as he stared at the person who walked in slowly through the door, a
face that was gloomy and frightening.
At the sound of this titillating voice, the room instantly fell silent again.
Countless frantic eyes looked in unison towards the door.
A young man walked in slowly, wearing a silver suit, with the elegance of a nobleman and a seductive
demon, with a smile on his flamboyant red lips, demonic and aristocratic.
“Mr. Jordan?!”
“Oh my God, it’s Luke Jordan! Why is he here?!”
Luke walked over to Selena and stood still, her eyes fixed on Dominic, smiling as he asked.
“Mr. Walson, you scolded Selena for being slutty, shameless, stalking you and unworthy of you, and
told her to get out of Creephia, never mind, but there is one thing, I hope you can explain.”
Hearing Luke’s words, the eyes of the crowd at the scene looked at Dominic in unison, with a strong
sense of contempt and disgust in their eyes. Then gentry valued manner. Even if they are angry at
heart, they will still maintain the most basic manners on the surface.
