022 – Confused State

Lucy and I were still lying down on the cold floor. Her head and shoulders were slanted against my chest. My hand was o n her stomach, caressing and trailing my fingers on her soft skin while she played with her hair.

And then I just left. I didn’t wait for her to say anything.

I knew that was an asshole move, but it’s what I’ve been doing with every female, so it shouldn’t concern me. She needed to know her place and I needed to hold on to my control.

I walked out of the training building and went straight into the forest lines. I had no intention of going back to the packhouse at the moment. I wanted time to think so I could put my life back in order.

I began running, on my feet, letting the wind shut my mind off.

In moments like this, I miss my wolf. I miss sharing my innermost thoughts with him. I felt alone – I had no wolf that could help pacify the confusion inside me.
