Ashira’s POV

“What are you doing?”

I turned to Aiden and my forehead creased when I saw his dark irritated expression. My hands that

holds the hem of my shirt freeze from taking the fabric off as I try to analyze the meaning of Aiden’s

moving jaw.

He was so excited a few seconds ago and now he looked angry at something I can’t think of. Wow.

This guy’s mood transition is fascinating at times.

“Getting ready to shift?” I said, reluctant if I did something wrong.

“You’re not taking your clothes off. Let it shatter and shift. Now.” He ordered.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. “Aiden, no one-”

“You won’t need your clothes on the way back either.” he insisted, ignoring my whim.

My arms fell on my sides as I sighed. “Fine.”

He smirked and gripped the band of his pants which where I narrowed my eyes to.

“Don’t!” I said in a commanding voice, copying the way he sounded. “Let it ripped when you shift,

baby.” I even copied his smirk when he tilt his head to the side, ‘unbelievable’ was stapled on his

expression that I almost burst out laughing!

I know I was playing but he can’t order me things he won’t follow. Well, just between us, at least. Plus,

it feels good to tease him this way rather than get mad by his dominant behavior.

When he finally grinned, I knew he caught up what I meant.

“It’s not my thing to submit to anyone but if its you…” he eyed my whole body playfully and I knew what

he meant by that!

I laughed hard and pushed his hand away when he tried and touch me.

“Aiden!” I protested. Once he plays around with me like this, we always end up curled and heated! My

human form don’t want to exercise , its my wolf that needed to sweat, not me!

I smiled when he laughed and relaxed his body. Aiden looked so young when he’s goofing around like

this.

He looked up and I watched his adam’s apple moved up and down as he swallows. When his eyes

caught mine once again, its in a shade of desire, desire of me.

I gulped.

He wants to take me now and I can feel it through the bond which elevated by the way he looks at me

now.

My smile slowly faded and I definitely looked funny right now! I don’t know what to feel but something in

my core fired up like an oiled engine ready to start just by his gaze!

When I thought Aiden will give in to the fire building between us, he screwed his eyes shut and

exhaled. I bit my lip and silently calmed myself when I figured that he was trying to resist.

“Shift, Ash. I want to see your wolf.”

I played with the lips I was biting and chewed on it. I’m starting to have second thoughts if I still like to

have a run but I kept fighting with myself.

You got a lot of time to have sex with him! Now, just shift and go for a fucking run!

It’s like I was having a silent war inside my head!

“And stop biting that lip. Please.” He closed his eyes shut and inhaled sharply like he’s seeing a trouble

that’s so hard for him. I quickly let my lip go, causing my mouth to be slightly parted.

He looked at me again, groaned and closed the distance between us.

I found my lips locked on his, sealed by his warm soft lip. A curled fingers held my nape and his arm

was wrapped on my waist, drawing me nearer than I already is. I moaned when he slipped his tongue

inside my parted lips, tasting every part of my mouth like he won’t have a chance to kiss me again.

I moaned and circled my arms around his neck. He deepened the kiss even more as I travelled my

hand down to his incredible arms. Heat seared into my body as I felt his naked chiseled hard chest, novelbin

absorbing his heightened temperature, burning me more!

“Temptress.” he whispered when he let go of the kiss, gasping.

I breathe shortly before another long and captivated kiss savored my lips again. He eventually break

the the kiss and settled his forehead on mine.

We stayed like that for a long minute, catching the breathe we loose for taking each other’s air.

“Its a bad idea for me to shift in my state.” he said in a low baritone voice.

I opened my eyes, I didn’t realized it was closed all this time. I looked at him and he stood straight,

meeting my gaze. His hardened expression says that he’s having a hard time over something.

But what?

“Why?” my voice were weak and low but I knew I could be heard.

“I’m aroused, baby.” he even chuckled while I’m confused and lost.

So? I know he is! I felt his cock hard against my belly but how was that related with his shape-shifting?

Aiden looked at me as if I said something unbelievable. He licked his lower lip and looked down

chuckling before giving me back the knee-trembling gaze.

“I don’t think you are ready for us to mate in our wolf form.”

My eyes widened and my mouth dropped. “Oh.” Yeah, I don’t think I’m ready for that.

It is known that wolf-mating is wild, bloody even. And having an Alpha as my mate, his wolf is much

more aggressive than a normal wolf.

Aiden chuckled and kissed my forehead when he felt that I’m cringey with the thought he planted inside

my head.

“I’ll still run with you. You’re incredibly fast as you are, I’m curious if you can beat me in your wolf.” he

grinned and I laughed.

Aiden knew how to lighten the atmosphere! Just by those words, the searing heat building in my core

and the fear of wolf-mate calmed me.

“I can’t win against an Alpha.” I said, admitting defeat. Of course, that’s impossible! He got a pack on

his back. His power is like getting transmitted by every wolf under his reign.

Aiden grinned sheepishly. “Only by strength and speed.”

I scoffed. “I never won against you.”

He raised his brow and chuckled. “You did.” he bit his lower lip. Before I could ask, he continued.

“Enough talking, let me see your wolf.” he said, suddenly back to his dominant tone.

I want to ask more but since he’s too eager to see my wolf form, I shoved the thought away. I like to

boost my wolf to him, too.

My family and Lucianna loves my wolf, and I’m proud of it that I need to show it to him!

I grinned from the thought, and my mind wanders of the possible reaction I would gain from him.

I took a step back, giving space between us to prepare shifting.

I closed my eyes and stood at stance, I called to my wolf, she howled back but just that. She didn’t

show any interest like she does before.

What’s her problem for real?

She always wiggles her tail whenever I’ll let her out but she’s off now.

My forehead knotted, confused with my wolf’s changes but I shoved the thought and focused on my

shifting.

I opened my eyes and saw Aiden at a safe distance, watching me intently. His eyes are full of

excitement, expectation, and proud.

I know my eyes turned into a deep emerald and Aiden smirked, pleased by the beautiful shade of my

wolf eyes.

Then it started. Every bones and muscles in my body felt like being extracted without any numbing

potion that I almost screamed but I got used to it. The transformation only lasted for seconds, and I

shifted.

I stand on all fours and stood proud before my mate.

Aiden’s eyes were shining as he looks at me. His arms hanged on his side like he got weak all of a

sudden. I laughed inside.

“What do you think? Huh?” I can’t help sounding proud as I asked in his head.

Aiden smiled proudly with joy. He shook his head slowly as if getting his conscious back like it has left

him.

“I think you can take mating with me in your wolf.” he said and grinned. My wolf shook its head fast and

Aiden grinned from our reaction. This jerk!

“Wow, baby.” He walked closer and brushed his hand on my fur, overwhelmed is what I felt from him. I

loved how he loved my wolf. I could feel his affection, he was stunned by my white wolf form! “You look

perfect for a Luna. Mother will get jealous if she’s alive.”

Awww! My mate looked star-struck right now!

He reached his hands to my neck and patted my wobbly fur. “Ugh. My wolf wants to take over right

now.” he said, chuckling.

“Let him.” I answered playfully in our mind link.

“Nah. I know what he’ll try to do.” he laughed. “Unless, you want that?”

“No!” I protested followed by a laugh. Aiden did, too.

“We’ll do that one of these days. My wolf will haunt me in my sleep, for sure.”

I laughed again. “Let’s run.” I offered excitedly.

Running along with nature is my passion. Specially my wolf. I feel recharged, alive and kicking after a

tiring run. Though I’d like to take a mile long, thinking of being on Aiden’s peaceful spot is enough for

me.

Aiden looked at my fox-like eyes and grinned. “After you.” he said, teasing. He knew he’ll caught up

with my speed! Ugh! Unfair.

I aloofly tilt my head, grinning inside as he laughs. I didn’t waste a second and run to the woods where

his spot is headed.

Ahhh! I’ll definitely take a dip!

I’m almost halfway there when I looked back to find no trace of Aiden behind me.

Argh! That jerk! He’s really getting into my nerves when he’s this boastful of his speed!

I’m almost at the clearing when Aiden ran past me, the air whirled as he passed and my wolf growled at

him.

He was seated on the green grass when I reached the river. I studied his relaxed body as he sat. His

palms were on the grass behind him as he leans, grinning while enjoying the sun kissing his face and

bare chest.

He looked deliciously gorgeous. Like a painting painted by the most skilled artist ever lived.

Oh, God.

“What caught you along the way?” he teased with a playful smile plastered on his face.

I rolled my eyes and ignore his mocking. I run and jump to the river as I shape-shift into my human

form. I dived perfectly in the cold water, swam with fishes shocked with my landing.

“Ah! That felt good!” I yelled after pulling myself up.

I looked at Aiden who’s watching me with his dark hooded eyes. His gaze tells me that he sees me as

a prey right now. Ready to be eaten any time.

His elbows are rested on his knees as he sat on the same spot. That look tells me he’s been waiting for

me to came out of the water.

I gulped.

My upped breast is clearly displayed in his sight but the rest of my body is not entirely hidden in this

clean waters.

And oh, the way he travelled his eyes down on my body tells me I’m in trouble.

“Come here.” he commanded. I could hear the desire and hunger in his voice and it felt like he’s been

waiting to devour me all this while.

Oh, God.
