Chapter 6 Luck or Doom?

"Yep, finally." Linda Yun breathed a sigh of relief.

This first-class hospital was just always full of people, while it merely had seven or eight elevators

for use.

It just could not build more elevators to meet flows of patients.

It took Linda Yun ten minutes to wait for one and she squeezed into it to get to the first floor.

But she was lucky to get into the elevator in the end.

However, as the elevator went upward, it was stuffed with more and more people.

Linda Yun could do nothing but step backward. Then her back touched a masculine body.

Indescribably, she felt surrounded by an extreme sense of coldness.

She frowned and tried to turn to see who it was.

But suddenly, the elevator clicked to a stop.

Instantly, the electricity was cut off.

"Ah, ah, ah, what's going on?" Screams burst out.

The elevator was stuck!

"Shut up!"

"Don't panic, whoever makes a call or presses the emergency button!"

Someone reacted, lightened up the elevator with cellphone flash light and pressed that button.

Then a voice came out of nowhere.

"Please do not panic, we are getting the system into operation now. Please stay calm, it won't last

long." An announcement came from the elevator speaker.

It was not until then that people stopfell making noises but they were still murmuring in

dissatisfaction.

"Mr. Huo..." Joe Guo frowned and lowered his voice. He was worried about him.

"It doesn't matter." The man spoke blandly.

Linda Yun was standing in the front. She had thought she was lucky to have caught the elevator

but it turned out...

What was worse, someone before her pushed her backward, "Back inside okay? I'm falling

forward."

"Ah", this guy pushed her so hard that she bumfell into someone.

"Hey, take it slow, okay? Linda Yun was a little bit pissed.

Why did he push me away in this narrow space!

"You've stepfell on my foot." A cold voice echoed from above.

Linda Yun lowered her head to check, but it was too dark to see anything. She moved her foot

away.

Well, this is it. That was why I just felt I was stepping on something.

"So...sorry." Linda Yun tried to bow to make an apology, but it was too crowded to make it.

But this guy's voice, it was so familiar!

When and where did she hear it before?

"Watch out!" Suddenly, the man reached out his right hand to hold her shoulder in this dark space.

"Bang!" The elevator shook just then.

Ah~~~~ Flows of screams at the top of their lungs came continuously.

"Please calm down, we are repairing the elevator, it will be done in a few minutes." Another

consoling announcement then came from the loud speaker.

"Thank, thank you..." Linda Yun was really scared.

The man was expressionless, but the moment he was about to put his hand down, he slightly

frowned.

"Well, you, you can let go of me!"

Though Linda Yun appreciated his help, she did feel uncomfortable when her shoulder was

clutched by a stranger.

"Don't move!"

"Excuse me?" Linda Yun was confused, was the elevator about to go wrong again?

Then in the next second, a puff of lukewarm breath blew in her ear.

"Your smell, so familiar..."

"Urrr, what are you talking about?"

"A very refreshing sweet milk scent, the smell, very special..."

"A kind of gladdening and refreshing milk scent, I like it."
