With a smile, Cordelia said, “I truly envy you for finding your own happiness.”

Sylvia chuckled bitterly deep within but didn’t let it show. She slowly said. “The reason I came this time is actually to invite you… and Emrys to my wedding banquet.”

“Sure. I was planning on visiting that heartless Ninette anyway,” Cordelia agreed. Then, she promptly asked, “When exactly?”

“The date hasn’t been set yet, but it should be soon, within the next two weeks.”

“Within the next two weeks?” Cordelia’s brows suddenly furrowed.
