Chapter 15

Savannah's POV

"Where are you taking me exactly?" This is the 7th time I am asking. But this man beside me didn't give

any heed to my question yet kept driving which is driving me crazy. Sneering, I turned my head to look

at the side. It's better to ignore this man. I must say his temptation is unbearable but somehow his

arrogance really gets on my nerves.

I closed my eyes, inhaling the cold air filling my nostrils. The car we are sitting in has no roof so I can

view the blue sky above. The seat was so comfortable as I leaned more into it. I have agree, riding

McLaren Elva is a greatest experience. Afterall who could always get the chance to ride this exclusive

sports car? I guess I am a lucky one. As I was about to drift in my dreamland when I felt a warm thing

touch my thigh. I opened my eyes only to see a giant hand cupping my thigh and rubbing it slowly. The

thin layer of material in between is not helping either.

"What are you doing?" I glared at him.

He didn't look at me but I can clearly see his smirk forming on his lips "what?"

I rolled my eyes. Is he trying to look innocent? Because he could be anything but innocent. Anger

bubbled inside me. First he grabbed mom's attention then he didn't reply to my question and now he is

acting like an innocent being. Nerve of this man.

~ He looked sexy~ Red's voice rang in my mind.

~Shut up. Can't you see he is ignoring my question?~ I barked in my head.

~ you are too loudly ~ Red rolled her eyes. My eyes widened. Is she my wolf or his? Because at this

moment I felt like my own wolf is the first enemy. I blocked her immediately not wanting to hear

anymore nonsense.

Then I heard a chuckle beside me "frustrated?"

"Shut up" I snapped.

"What did I do? It's your own wolf"

My eyes widened in an instant. How did he know about it? I stared at him with disbelief. He glanced

sideways before chuckling again.

"I can feel her excitement. She is more open minded than you"

"What did you say?" How dare he.

"Isn't it? At least she says it true when her human form does not want to accept it" his words hit the soft

spot of my heart. I pressed my lips and refrained myself to reply anything. Red is always excited

whenever Hardwick is with us. Though I always give in at the end, I still have some restrictions for

myself. The betrayal of the past always haunts me whenever I try to open myself.

His hand roamed in a slow circle over my thigh. I don't want to admit it but he'll, it feels really good

when he touches me. I felt like all the cells of my body had awakened again. I glared at his hand which

was almost covering my slim thigh. How big is he? He can grab my thigh with just one hand. Shaking

my head I pushed his hand away.. suddenly I felt coldness on my skin.

"If you really want to touch then touch yours" I snapped.

"I am already touching what's mine" that was his reply before placing his hand again. And I thought he

would stop? Fuck me, no mater how much I hate to admit but I liked the way he touches me.

Wonderful, now my own body is the traitor one. For the rest of the ride I did not speak, nor did he say

anything. It was almost 6 in the evening when the car finally stopped.

"We have reached?" I looked around but couldn't find anything. Why did he stop suddenly in the

middle?

He didn't reply but shutting down the engine he got out of the car before walking towards my side. He

opened the door then stretched his hand. I looked at his hand then placed mine. Once I stand on my

feet I can hear the sound of waves. And immediately my eyes widened.

Sea? Oh my god, fucking beach? Excitement runs through every cell of my body. He took me to

fucking beach? I looked at him and found him always gazing at those dominating brown orbs.

"Excited?" He smirked like he sensed the changing of my body reaction.

"It's a beach?" Seriously I know it is but what the hell, I want to confirm it from him.

"I thought you would like this" he tugged my body towards him and curled his arm around my waist. His

masculine patchouli smell filled my nostrils. God, his woody and earthy smells drove me crazy until I novelbin

lost all my senses. I took a deep breath to calm my heart.

Calm down, calm down. I recited these words inwardly.

"Ready?" I heard him ask again. I nodded my head and heaved a sigh.

He took me to the side and as I walked I could see the tiny shine of light a little far away. As we walked

closer the light became wider and I gasped. I could not believe it. There's a tiny path which was filled

with string lights on each side and in the middle there was a tent. He led me towards the tent and the

decorated table inside the tent came into view. Dishes , napkins and glasses are beautifully decorated

on the table with scented candles and a bunch of rose flowers in the middle.

"This...." I was speechless. This kind of arrangement was something I never expected. Especially not

from the man beside me.

"You like it?" He asked, smiling down at me.

I looked at him with astonishment, "I..." Biting my lips I nodded "I love it. It's so beautiful" and this is

true. A fucking truth that flattered my heart.

"Good, I am glad to hear that" he pulled a chair for me. Thanking me, I sat down.

"You did this? All of this?" I asked.

He nodded as he sat in front of me. I looked at his handsome face. This is not what I craved for such a

long time. To go on dates with my mate and he becoming the prince charming for me. But all those

wishes never came true until today. I craved it when I was Avan's mate. But he always stayed busy or

he would say it's improper for us to go on dates when others don't know about us being mates. But now

I have not expected nor had any fantasy of having a date night. Yet, it still gets fulfilled like a dream

comes true. Have I ever expected something like this to happen?

The answer will always be a big No. But now it felt like everything changed. Maybe for good.

Clearing my throat I blinked a few times "why did you put so much effort only for this date?"

"For you" that was his reply. There's no hesitation nor any rush. It was just two tiny words yet it

somehow managed to dig deeply in my heart.

For me?

"Why?"

He gazed at me "why not? You are mine and it's my responsibility to make you happy. Though our

interactions are just for a short period of time but I will do everything that makes you smile"

A strange feeling started crawling inside my heart "you just did it to make me smile?"

"Your happiness matters to me. No matter how hard or efforts it takes, I will do it in a heartbeat"

~ And you thought he was annoying ~ comes Red's mocking in my head. ~ he is our mate and he is

taking all efforts to make us happy. Go kiss him ~

I shook her away not wanting to cause any disturbance. Then a smile suddenly formed on my lips

"thank you. It's beautiful but I never expected it" I felt blush hitting my face.

He smirked "should we order?"

I nodded. Just then a man who looked young wearing a waiter's uniform walked inside. I was surprised.

I haven't seen anyone before we entered the tent but now where did he come from out of nowhere?

"Should we serve master?" He asked, lowering his head.

Hardwick nodded "get it done"

The waiters nodded then gestured his hand and a few more waiters followed in holding trays. I watched

as they started serving the food before leaving the tent. Once they disappeared from the view I heard

Hardwick's voice again.

"Should we start?"

"Huh?" I turned my head to look at him.

"Foods will get cold if you just stare at me like that?" He smirked. I lowered my head and looked at the

food.

"This...."

"All your favourite" he replied even before I could ask.

"How do you know all this?" I asked with surprise. This man never failed to amaze me. I glanced at the

food again. These are all I love the most. Especially that prawn one.

"Luna told me," he shrugged.

"Mom? " I frowned "she didn't said anything about it"

"I asked her"

"You asked her?"

He nodded "I wanted to know what you like to eat and she is the only one who can help me"

I hated it. I hated to admit that I am truly moved. He not only planned this beautiful decoration starting

with the selection of place yet he went forward to know about my likings too? Which girl will stay still if

she witnesses such a thing? Such a romantic gesture that could flatter anyone without trying hard.

"You didn't need to work that hard for me," I said slowly.

"You are my mate, and this is nothing. The only thing that matters to me is YOU. And about these

efforts it's worth everytime you smile looking at it"

Please don't. Don't do such a thing. Because I couldn't handle it and at the end will end up falling for

him. My heart has never moved like this. This is what feels like having a mate right? Being loved and

cared for and most importantly being treated to this extent. We didn't talk much after that but started to

enjoy the food. I must say, those dishes are so delicious that I could not help myself but eat till I am

satisfied. He was so gentle that he even peeled the prawns for me. Can this night be more enjoyable

than this?

After the meal we sat on the sand enjoying the view of the waves that were splashing around. This

peaceful environment is something that calmed both heart and mind.

"Thank you for this night" I whispered but I know he can hear me. My heart jumped when he pulled me

closer.

"If you want to thank me then why don't you thank me properly. This verbal thanking is not acceptable"

he said huskily. We are so close that I can feel his breath fanning my cheeks.

"Then how do you want me to thank you?" I said but my voice comes out more like whispering.

"Hmmm ..like this" then he claimed my lips for a heated kiss. He nibbled my bottom lips then licked it

before taking it in his mouth. He was not gentle but his kiss made me curl my toe in excitement. My
