Chapter 13 Check

“Fuck away! Let go of me!”

Aminah was terrified and tried to push Mr. Lee away, “I’m not Jessica! You’re mistaken!”

“You liar! I won’t fall for your lie again! Come here and let’s have fun together!”

Mr. Lee ripped away Aminah’s clothes crazily and was determined to get what he wanted tonight.

“Fuck off!”

Aminah shouted out of desperation, but the sound proofing in the suite was stellar, so no one heard

what was going on inside.

“Open the door! We’re here to perform an examination!”

Someone one knocked on the door heavily.

Seeing that no one would answer the door, a swarm of police then stormed in and forced Mr. Lee to

calm down as he was still excited.

“Get… Get out first!”

Seeing that the police were here, Aminah panicked and grabbed the bed sheet to cover herself.

“I didn’t do anything. Nothing!”

“Please behave yourself and tell us everything till we are at the police station.”

The head police then motioned other police, “Take them back and start an investigation.”

Aminah had never expected that the police would be here and they wouldn’t hear her explanations and

she was then taken custody.

Before marrying Kevin, Aminah was quite famous, and she spent quite a fortune to clean her name, but

still, a lot of people recognized her right away,

“The hell! Isn’t this Aminah who had sworn to leave this kind of business?”

“Right! Why is she taken away by the police?”

“Can’t you see? The man in front of her is Mr. Lee! Their clothes are both messy and are under custody

together! Can’t you guess what happened? Do I really have to be that clear?”

“We would definitely make a fortune if we tell paparazzi this bomb news! Let’s take a video of this!”

Bad news travelled fast,

The scandal got spread around quickly and crowd was soon forming on the street!

Aminah cannot even open her eyes for there were too many cameras shooting at the same time.

“That is enough! Stop! Get out of here!”

Aminah had lost her mind and shrieked to the crowd.

At the same time, Kevin was entertaining some bosses for he had landed a sweet deal by marrying

Jessica into a prestigious family.

“Mr. Armstrong is absolutely dashing today! Why isn’t your wife here?”

One of the bosses put down the cup and teased.

Aminah had met a bunch of outstanding men before in her business before and was sort of the

backbone of the Armstrong Family after they got married together. As long as she was present in a

negotiation, the deal was sure to be closed, so she was kind of famous in the business circle.

“Well, my wife had other plans today. It’s much more relaxing without her, right?”

Kevin smiled and was cocky inside.

“Mrs. Armstrong was really competent before and we can all see how attractive you are by letting her

marry you in her prime years!”

“Right! Mrs. Armstrong surly made her contributions in making the Armstrongs strong all these years.”

People started buttering up Kevin one by one.

Kevin got cockier and right before he was about to say something, someone called him again and

again.

“Speaking of the devil! It must be Mrs. Armstrong! You got to take this one! She must be wondering

where you are. We will be your witnesses!”

“Yeah, take it. Hurry up. Don’t let your wife wait much longer.”

As he was sucked up to by all these people, Kevin got proud and even put the call on speaker.

“Is this Mr. Armstrong?”

A strange voice asked him.

“Your wife Aminah is suspected of doing indecent business and she is under custody now. Please

come to the police station with your lawyer!”

The stranger’s voice was loud and clear and everyone present heard his words.

Indecent business?

Under custody?

Kevin froze and started blanking in his head.

Before Kevin can come around, some of the people got gossipy and started searching for the trendy novelbin

news on their phones.

There were a great amount of photos and videos that were circulating online and they were all high

definition. There were even some close-ups. Mr. Lee and Aminah were on top of each other and

kissing fervently. The room was quite messy and everyone could well guess what happened in that

room.

People were all cursing in the comment section.

“How old is she? Doesn’t she fear that her daughter might be humiliated by this?”

“Well, it seems that Mr. Armstrong cannot satisfy her. After all, she was satisfied constantly before by

different guys.”

“I’d like to interview Mr. Armstrong and see what he is thinking about this. Does he know that he was

cheated on?”

“Well, well. How dare her to fake herself as a successful businesswoman? Now we all know how she

closed all her deals! How repulsing!”

“Mr. Armstrong, don’t wait any longer.

Go home and get a lawyer and bail your wife out.”

Someone urged Kevin to leave.

Before Kevin can totally get out of their sights, all the people started roaring.

At the same time, Mr. Lee and Aminah were both handcuffed and sitting across the inquiry desk. They

were just done with confessing when Kevin and the lawyer arrived.

“Go home with me!”

Seeing that the lawyer had finished processing the bail paper, Kevin scolded Aminah coldly.

“Don’t be mad of me! I’m really framed this time. That bitch Jessica got me into this!”

Aminah followed Kevin hurriedly and pulled his clothes lightly and said frantically.

“Jessica framed you and Mr. Lee to do this?”

Kevin glared at Aminah and asked indifferently.

“It must be her!” Aminah was sure.

“You and Mr. Lee are the center of the public attention right now and everyone in the county know what

are you doing in that room! Don’t you tell me that it’s also Jessica who did this!”

Kevin stared at Aminah.

Aminah knew what might ensue after this scandal, but she didn’t expect everyone to know this during

such a short amount of time.

“It must be that bitch! She…”

Aminah was livid with anger and was dying to rip Jessica apart.

But before she can even finish her sentence, Kevin slapped her on the face violently.

One of Aminah’s teeth instantly fell off and blood started oozing out her mouth. She froze on the spot.

Kevin spoiled her and her daughter all these years and hadn’t never talked to her loudly, let alone hit

her.

“Why… Why do you hit me?”

Tears welled up in Aminah’s eyes.

“How can you bring yourself to ask this question? Jessica just came home from that barbaric place and

what did she know? Does she have all these connections to do this? I can’t even pull this off! Don’t you

know how I spooned you and your daughter all these years? How can you do this to me?”

Kevin was keen on face-saving and now not only had he lost his reputation over Aminah’s foolish

behavior, the stock price of his company also plummeted. His group was on the verge of being delisted!

Aminah then understood the main reason Kevin was so mad was that he was humiliated and lost his

face.

“I would ask the PR department to deal with this. Start behaving from this day in and don’t count me in

saving your ass again!”

Kevin said seriously and then just left himself.

‘Jessica, you bitch! I’ll definitely let you pay back for this! I will let you suffer for what you did!”

At the same time, Lucian and his friends were in a cafe.

“How amazing! I really enjoyed this show today! N, your wife is absolutely capable! Aminah is now

screwed up after this drama!”

Crouching in a sofa, Lucian said relaxingly.

Having his hands in the pocket, Lucian stood in front of the French window and wondered how

surprising was his wife every time.

Jessica was like a riddle which was waiting for him to be discovered.

“Well then, bye.”

While Lucian was about to leave, he was stopped by a little figure and it was Juliette.

Juliette was always cocky and proud for she was spoiled by Aminah and Kevin all these years and

enjoyed messing people around. She had no doubt inherited Aminah’s bad side but not her

intelligence.

She didn’t know what happened yet and was keen on fishing Lucian .

“Hey, you! You are a prostitute, right? Take my check and leave Jessica right now!”

Juliette put the check in the pocket of Lucian and held her head up high.
