Chapter 3: Mate

When maths ended, I put my books in my bag and left. Louis caught up with me.

"And what was all that about?" Louis asked sounding irritated.

"What was what about?" I didn't know what he was saying.

"I saw the way Grayson was looking at you." Louis said being annoyed.

"Yeah well he was just fooling around with his dipshit pack members." I snapped.

"He must stay the fuck away from you." Louis growled.

"Louis, he means nothing to me and you don't own me, so stop being so possessive over me okay? please." I sighed.

"I'm just looking out for you Danielle. I don't want you to get hurt or played. Especially by him. Grayson is a cold blooded fucktard." Louis growled at me.

"Yeah okay. I'm gonna go Louis. Text you later." I walked away being annoyed.

I stormed away and then I bumped into a tall, muscular figure. I looked up to see Grayson looking at me.

"You okay there?" Grayson asked raising his eyebrows.

He smelt so good, making my wolf purr. Something about Grayson attracted me so much.

Grayson smirked. Again.

"U-hhh yeah th-anks." I blushed and I caught a lot of people's attention.

"Cat got your tounge?" Grayson raised his eyebrows. I need to control myself.

"No I'm fine." I readjusted my backpack.

"You seem upset?" He asked. Well obviously I was upset. I had a fight with Louis. But I lied.

"I'm fine thanks for asking." I said.

"I don't believe you, beautiful." he smirked.

I blushed heavily. I felt tingles all through my body. My wolf purred in his words. I tried to get myself together.

"I'm really fine." I said.

Grayson growled lightly. My heart started racing.

"Listen beautiful, I don't like being lied to." Grayson walked towards me. My back hit the wall. Grayson had a big effect on me. I was extremely attracted to him.

"I'm s-orry." I said.

He kept on walking towards me until our bodies touched. My wolf wanted to take control but I put her aside. I looked up at Grayson and his eyes started to turn black. I felt sparks in my body when he pinned me against the wall. My breathing became heavy. Grayson leaned in and kissed my cheek. And then he stepped back.

"Why do I feel this way around you?" I asked.

"Can't you see? We are mates Danielle. Since we locked eyes earlier. I felt it and I know you feel it as well." He said.

"Oh..." I didn't know what to say. Grayson is my mate. Grayson? the cold blooded fuckboy? Great...

"Don't worry beautiful, the only girl I'll be fucking is you." he smirked and his eyes turned a shade darker.

I started blushing hard and covered my face with my hands. I felt the sparks again when he took his big hand and put my hands down.

"Why are you so shy? I know how I make you feel." he growled stepping closer to me again. My heart started racing again.

"Anyway beautiful, I've got to go and sort Alpha things out. Pack your things alright? I'll pick you up at 7." Grayson said looking around.

What? Pack my things? Hahaha funny.

"Pack my things?" I said getting annoyed.

"Yes Danielle, you are my property now, which means you are going to live with me. I am the alpha and your king and you will obey me. If you don't, I will punish you and that's a promise."

Grayson said keeping eye contact with me the whole time. His fangs were out which frightened me and my wolf. My wolf whimpered softly.

"Shh princess." Grayson lifted up my chin forcing me to lock my eyes with him. He was giving me so much mixed messages.

"Be ready at 7 beautiful." Grayson kissed my forehead and walked off.

I walked off and saw Jessica talking to Louis.

"Jessica!" I shouted hugging her.

"Hey Danielle!" she hugged me back.

"Danielle I'm sorry about earlier." Louis gave me puppy dog eyes.

"No it's okay Louis." I pulled Louis into a hug. Louis dipped his head in the crook of my neck and sniffed me.

"Why the fuck do you have Grayson's scent all over you?" Louis shouted at me.

"Louis calm down." I said calmly.

"No I'm not going to calm down until I know why that motherfucking pricks scent is all over you." his eyes were black. His wolf had taken over and was in full control.

"We are mates." I said softly.

"No fucking way!" Louis shouted at me.

"I'm sorry." I said softly.

"I sware on my life, if he lays a finger on you or mistreats you in any way, I'll fucking rip his head off and that's a promise." Louis said angrily.

"Okay fine. I'll be fine I promise." I smiled at Louis.

"This is gonna change us." he said sadly.

"Nothing will change us." I hugged Louis and his eyes softened while he hugged me back.

Jessica uncomfortably coughed behind us and Louis flashed her a dirty look.

"Sorry Jessica." I giggled.

"So where is your gorgeous brother or brothers?" She asked looking around the school yard.

"Niall is somewhere. Shawn and Luke stayed at home." I said giggling.

"Will they ever notice me?" Jessica asked dramatically.

"Well you should start talking to them Jess." I laughed.

"Touché." she giggled.

"I need to get going ladies, need a lift?" Louis asked. novelbin

"That's sweet Louis, but Jessica and I need girl time." I smiled.

"Alright. Text me when you're home." Louis hugged me and walked to his car.

Jessica and I started walking to her car and climbed in.

"So Grayson huh?" She said as we drove home.

"Yeah guess so." I chuckled nervously and blushed.

"Just be careful Danielle. He is the king of like everyone and he is a cold blooded killer." She said.

"Yeah I know..." I looked out the window.
