Chapter 12- Zeno

“Off course not. Come on in. How about we play something in the game room?” Ben said grinning

brightly.

“Sure.”

I smirked when their backs turned towards us. I saw her making something in the kitchen from the side

of my eyes.

We played Mario cart for a few minutes but I wasn’t paying much attention to the game. I noticed that

Uncle Steven and Aunt Amara aren’t home.

This is my chance. I will threaten her to transfer back to my school. That way I wouldn’t have to come

here daily and I can go back to chiding her whenever I want.

I got up saying that I needed something to drink and entered the kitchen. She was still there. I

approached her with a smirk on my face as she turned towards me. I was about to speak but a groan

came out of my mouth instead of words as I felt a hard kick on my baby maker. The next thing I know, I

felt a blow to my temple and everything turned black.

I woke wincing in pain as my head throbbed like someone had dropped a boulder on it. What the hell?

Do I have a hangover? I don’t remember going to any party.

“Ohh he is waking up.” A female voice said from near me.

What is happening?

“We can see that Val.” Came an amused male voice.

“Why does he have a purple colored forehead?”

A kid.

Where am I?

Wait a minute.

Purple forehead? Are they talking about me?

I jolted up from wherever I was laying but regretted immediately as a sharp pain went through my

forehead and my groin throbbed.

I opened my eyes to find the Astley siblings and Fabian, Francis and Vivian surrounding me. Some had

amused expressions while some had worried look.

Why are they looking at me like that?

“That isn’t purple Eros. It’s a mixture of black, blue, purple and red.” Elizabeth told the little demon.

“What happened?” I croaked out.

A glass of chilled water was trusted in my hands which I drank in one go.

“You tell us. We found you on the kitchen floor with a seething Aria breathing fire over your

unconscious body.” Ben said amused.

Then I remembered what that bitch did. She will pay for that. I will make sure of it.

“What did you do to her?” Ethan asked seriously.

All the amusement vanished from the twins’ faces and their other siblings also looked at me with a

blank face except for Eros.

“Why would I do anything to her?” I growled.

“Our sister is not the violent type. Unless you rile her up, she is as silent as a saint. So we know for

sure that you did something to her.” Elizabeth said narrowing her eyes at me.

“I didn’t do anything to her.” I shouted but my head throbbed even more.

Well I am telling the truth. I didn’t do anything to her this time. Francis and Fabian looked

uncomfortable with a hint of fear on their faces. Vivian looked down right confused. She had never

played part in our little adventure nor did she knew anything about it.

She even complained many times that Arabella didn’t talk to her which I turned into hate in her head. I

don’t think anyone is aware of the extents my schemes.

“You can’t lie to us forever. We will know everything eventually.” Valentina said with a smirk.

“Can you at least take me to the hospital? My head is throbbing.” I grumbled keeping the groin part out.

That would be utterly embarrassing to tell.

They snorted. They literally snorted in my face.

“Chill you won’t die from a little injury. I can tell Arai didn’t use her full strength or you might have ended

up in a coma or worse, dead” Elliott said scoffing.

“Don’t look at us like that. Mom has been training her since she was ten. They think we don’t know it

but we do. We just kept it a secret.” Val said smirking at me.

My eyes widened in shock. Fabian and Francis’s head whipped towards the smirking siblings in I can

tell equal shock.

All this time I thought she was defenseless but I could have died. But why didn’t she defend herself

before?

“So what did you do Zeno?” Ben asked with murderous look on his face.

“I didn’t do anything.” My voice came out weak.

He looked ready to butcher my ass.

“Wait a minute.” Ethan said rubbing his chin like he was thinking really hard. “You were there when she

had a panic attack at the bonfire and today she hit you. What could that mean brother?”

I stiffened. I am sure they are going to kill me painfully from the way they are looking at me.

I haven’t felt this scared in my entire fucking life.
