Briana said indifferently, “Whatever”
“What?”
Mallory pointed at Briana and said coldly, “How self-willed! That’s why I hate you so much!”
“Is there anything else you want to say?”
Briana’s eyes were full of impatience and the anger Mallory had managed to suppress suddenly burst
out again.
“How dare you talk to me like that, Briana?”
Seeing Mallory fly into a rage, Briana looked at her and said, “Then what do you want me to do?”
Mallory frowned slightly and said with detest, “Forget about it! Let’s go straight to the point. Kiley is
back now, and when will you divorce Maxim?”
“Why do I have to divorce Maxim when Kiley is back?”
Mallory sneered coldly, “Don’t play dumb! Maxim and Kiley love each other, and if you sandwich in the
middle, you can only be a laughingstock!”

Briana was still indifferent. “I am Maxim’s wife now. And I think I am not the one sandwiched in between
nor will I be laughed at by others.”
Mallory flew into a rage and said with her teeth gritted, “Is there no other man in the world? Why do you
have to steal Kiley’s man?”
With a cold smile on her lips, Briana said word by word, “Mrs. Schneider, just so you know, Kiley is the
one who’s trying to rob my husband now. Why don’t you just go and tell Kiley to work harder instead of
forcing me to take the initiative to divorce Maxim? As long as she can make Maxim agree to divorce, I
will immediately sign the paper and will absolutely not pester Maxim anymore!”
“OK! Remember what you said today, Briana!”
Briana turned around and left without saying anything else.
When Briana returned to the banquet hall, Desmond was giving a birthday speech.
Briana was not interested in that, so she just got seated somewhere quiet and took out her mobile
phone, intending to play games. Suddenly, someone sat next to her.
Turning to see Melody, Briana calmly withdrew her eyes and continued to play the game.
Melody took a look at Briana’s mobile phone and twitched her mouth, saying, “Won’t you be tired of this
game?”
“No.”
Melody saw Briana’s beautiful side face at a glance and could not help but feel, “Clearly Briana is much
more outstanding than Kiley in all aspects. How come the Schneider family can not see it?
Oh, it seems Maxim can’t see that either.”
When Melody thought of the scene she just saw in the garden, there was a flash of anger in her eyes.
She could not hold her tongue and said, “I just saw Maxim hugging Kiley in the garden, and I almost
threw my lunch up!”

Briana went on playing the game without any pause and said indifferently, “They were actually a couple
before. You may see more such scenes later, so you should get used to it earlier.”
“I don’t think I can get used to that. Is there anything wrong with Maxim’s eyes? Why would he like
Kiley, that two-faced slut!”
Briana had just finished a game, so she put away the phone and looked at Melody. “Everybody has his
own preference. To each their own!”
Seeing Briana is still calm, Melody couldn’t help but frown. “The problem is you and Maxim haven’t novelbin
divorced yet. He cheats on you! Are you gonna look on coldly like that?”
“Or what? Few people know about my secret marriage with Maxim, and now to others, Maxim and
Kiley look normal to be together.”
Melody went speechless.
After keeping silent for a while, Melody patted Briana’s shoulder and said, “How poor you are! I’ll be
nicer to you.”
“Why not start being nice to me from now? I want cupcakes. You go get me some.”
Melody couldn’t help but smile, “OK, I’ll get it for you!”
Soon after Melody left, Desmond walked down from the stage and Ruby walked onto it.
Desmond and Lacey had three kids, two boys and a girl.
