As it turned out, the mysterious master called one of his assistants and said," Check if everything Vlad

said is true?"

"Yes, Sir," replied Mike who was the mysterious man's assistant.

Then, Mike walked towards the basement exit. At that time, without realizing Vlad pointed a knife to his

neck, he asked Mike to remain silent, not make a sound and follow him away from there and Mike did

as well.

Then, they walked out of the mysterious man's residence and rushed into the car. Luckily at that time,

Vlad was able to escape from all guards without the slightest suspicion. It was none other than

because they had all put great trust in Vlad as their leader and the person that the mysterious man

trusted.

Without lingering, Vlad immediately drove his car out of the residence of the leader of the High Court.

Mike who was sitting next to him could only surrender, watch and wait for what would happen to him.

The whole way, Vlad was silent and didn't say anything. Mike who was curious then asked, "What's

with all this, Vlad? What are you going to do to me?”

Vlad took a shaky breath, then replied, “There's no need to pretend anymore. I know what the master

ordered you. For info, Bert is injured and on the verge of death. Is this what you want? Do you want

him dead?”

Vlad said it all with a fiery face while holding back emotion and sadness. The friendship of the three of

them was destroyed instantly when Bert found out that his two best friends were serving the leader of

the High Court who killed The Alpha of The Blood Moon Pack.

"Don't you know that this is not what I want? We are just subordinates who are asked to do things we

don't want, even though many things are against our hearts. But, do we have a choice? Is there a

choice before us? This is not what I want and I'm sorry to hear all this," Mike replied sadly.

Then, Mike leaned his head back against the chair and let out a shaky breath. Not long after that, the

car stopped at a red light. Then, Vlad turned and looked at his best friend's face.

“Can you let Bert go? Leave him in the forest, so he can recuperate,” pleaded Vlad.

"He's in the middle of the forest? With a lone wolf?” asked Mike.

“Yes, he was assisted by a lone wolf, but when we were fighting, he didn't change into a wolf at all. He

remained in human form and shot at us. Bert lay limp on the ground with severe injuries all over his

body.”

“Hmm… then what should we do? Master ordered me to check the truth of everything you said to him.

Tell me your plan," Mike pleaded.

“I will take you to the forest where Bert is being cared for. Then, you will know what to report.” Then,

Vlad drove faster towards the same forest where Bert was being cared for.

Mike leaned back in his chair, looking straight ahead. Long ago, the three of them were close friends.

Their relationship was good because they come from the same orphanage. They are orphans, so they

love and respect each other.

Until one day, Mike was recruited by the leader of the High Court, then Vlad followed him and devoted

his whole heart to the mysterious leader. Finally, Bert, who is younger than them, decides to become a

member of The Alpha of Blood Moon Pack.

At first, they felt that it was okay if the three of them separated and served two different masters. Until

one day, The Alpha of Blood Moon Pack was killed and Bert caught a conversation between the master

and Vlad. From there, Bert became disappointed and angry. It never occurred to him if Vlad was able to

carry out all the killings.

Then, as planned, Bert went to Vlad and asked him to apologize to the wife and child of the Alpha

Blood Moon Pack. However, Vlad refused at that time. A misunderstanding ensued, they had quarreled

and fought. Both were hurt, but both of them still didn't want to give in and ended up not talking to each

other. Until they are reunited when Vlad and Mike are tasked with killing Bert.

Not long after, the car driven by Vlad entered the forest and stopped right at the edge of a large tree,

then they walked to John's house which was located in the middle of the forest.

From a distance, they could see a house that looked deserted, but all the lights were on. When they

were standing right in front of the entrance of the house, Mike knocked a few times but didn't hear any

answer from inside. Finally, Vlad decided to try to open the door. Sure enough, the door was unlocked.

"Mike, this house is unlocked," said Vlad.

"Are we still going inside?" asked Mike.

"Yes, I already pressed the doorknob. Let's try to get in," said Vlad.

Then they came in and they saw in front of the fireplace Bert's body was lying limp, several parts of his

body were bandaged and his eyes were closed.

"Vlad, is that Bert?" asked Mike in surprise.

"Yeah, that's him. Looks like he fell asleep and didn't smell our arrival. Maybe he was under the drug's

effect," said Vlad.

"The wound looks serious. Can he survive?” Mike asked as he approached and knelt beside Bert, who

was fast asleep.

"He must have survived. Take it easy. I'm sure he can get through all of this. He is the strongest among

the three of us. Then, after you've seen all this, what's your next plan?”

“You already know my thoughts, Vlad. I'll keep this a secret from the master and say if you have told all

the truth," replied Mike.

"Thank you, Mike," said Vlad.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Scott and his two friends did not find Mrs. Jenkins at his house. The novelbin

woman disappeared just like Bert. No clue and no trace. The difference is, at Mrs. Jenkins found no

bloodstains.

Their investigation came to a halt and returned to a dead end. Only Katie was still keeping all her

conclusions. He already had a plan and intended to carry it out on his own.

Several days passed, after a fruitless investigation. The weekend has arrived. In the afternoon, in his

bedroom, Scott was ready to pick up Lisa. He rushed out of his bedroom and said goodbye to Katie

dan Tom, got into the car, and drove pretty fast toward Dorothy's house.

Arriving in front of Dorothy's house, he got out of the car while holding back his nervousness. His heart

was beating fast enough and his feet stepped quickly towards the terrace of the house. He knocked a

few times on the door, then Dorothy came out and let him in and waited for Lisa to come down.

Not long after, Lisa's voice called his name, Scott turned back and was surprised to see Lisa's

appearance walking down the stairs.
