"No, it's not like that. It's just—" she answered.

"Why Lisa?" asked Scott.

“I couldn't do as many things as I wanted, because I had to take care of my mother who was sick at the

time. Sean and I helped each other. Meanwhile, my father works,” answered Lisa.

"Sorry to hear that. What happened to your mom exactly?” asked Scott.

“She suffered from a stroke that hit half of her body. She couldn't do much and just lay limp in bed the

whole time."

"Sorry to hear that, Lisa. And how are things now?” Scott asked curiously.

“She passed away not too long ago. That's one of the reasons why Sean and I vacationed here."

"Sorry for your loss. If there's anything I can help you with, don't hesitate to say it."

"Thank you. You can help me with one thing."

"Say it."

“Take me to interesting places. How? Before I go back to Manhattan."

"Okay. I'll set the time and then get back to you."

"Thank you, Scott."

Not long after that, the food they ordered arrived. Scott asked Lisa to taste the food and give her

comments. Then, Lisa immediately shoved the food into her mouth and a few seconds later she started

showing a satisfied expression.

"How about it? Is the food taste good?” asked Scott.

"Um, delicious. Even though it's just a plate of pasta, it's delicious. I love cheese, and the taste of the

cheese in this pasta is very good but doesn't cover the taste of the pasta. The sauce is also very good.

Thank you for bringing me here," Lisa replied.

Scott felt very happy to hear and be close to the girl. The man felt Lisa was different from other girls.

She is very simple and shows a side of herself as she is, without pretending. To Scott, this girl is very

innocent and honest.

A few minutes later, from the direction of the stage, a singer pulled up a chair and sat on it. Then, other

musicians went up and sat in front of their respective musical instruments. Then, the music began to

sound.

Lisa and Scott, who were enjoying dinner, immediately set their eyes on the stage. The song sung by

the singer sounded familiar to Lisa. The song is very beautiful and romantic.

Scott, who felt that he had looked at the stage enough, then turned his head and found Lisa who was

enjoying the live music. The man smiled at the cute face of the girl who was destined for him.

"Lisa," Scott called.

Lisa looked at Scott and said, "Yes."

“Do you like the music? Will you dance with me?” he asked.

“Yes, I like the music. Let's dance after I finish this meal," answered Lisa.

"Okay, just eat slowly, not too fast."

"Um, okay."

After finishing the food they ordered, Scott stood up from his chair, walked over to Lisa, and held out

his hand. Then, they walked to the stage and took a position to dance.

Lisa put her hand on Scott's shoulder and he wrapped his arms around her waist. Then, they started

dancing to the beat of the song. They looked at each other and felt nervous, glanced the other way for

a moment, then looked back at each other.

"Lisa, you're so different," Scott said for the umpteenth time.

"Yeah, this is the second time you've said that to me."

"Oh okay. Umm, what I mean is different in other ways. I've known a lot of women and many of them

don't have your character. You are so simple, gentle, and lovely. I feel comfortable and happy when I'm

with you," Scott said.

"Is it true?" asked Lisa happily.

"Yes. May I get to know you better?”

"May. All this time, you only asked about me, but I haven't asked about you. May I know about you

too?” Lisa asked.

"Oh, um. Ok. Maybe next time I'll tell you myself."

Scott had forgotten that his life and that girl were very different. Scott is a werewolf, while Lisa is a

human. He was at a loss to somehow explain all those things to her.

While they were dancing, someone was watching from afar. That person is Katie. She had followed

Scott ever since the man left his residence. Jealousy filled her heart and she felt like Lisa had snatched

Scott from her. Evil thoughts began to enter her mind. A plan for Lisa had been drawn up by her. Katie

had made up her mind to put her plan into action as soon as possible before Scott fell for the girl.

“Scott, you are no match for her. She's an innocent girl who will only get you into trouble,” Katie

muttered.

"And Lisa. I have no problem with you it's just that I've liked Scott for a long time. So, you are a

hindrance to me. I'm sorry if I have to do this to you," Katie mumbled again.

Then, Katie hurriedly left the place to go to Fred's house, who was Scott's enemy all this time. When

the car she was driving stopped right in front of the gate, several guards approached and questioned

her.

“Excuse me, I would like to meet Mr. Fred. Is he in there?” she asked.

“Before we answer, show me your ID? Have you made an appointment with Mr. Fred?" asked one of

the large guards.

“This is my ID card. I came here suddenly and haven't made an appointment to meet him. Please tell

him that Katie from the Blood Moon Pack would like to see him discuss an advantage,” she said.

The two guards looked at each other. Then, one of the athletic stature men who seemed to be the

leader of all went and entered the guard post. From a distance, Katie saw that he was calling someone.

Not long after, the athletic man came out and walked over to Katie. Katie's heart was beating fast and

she was feeling nervous. Then, the man stopped right beside the car and asked, “Please come in,

Miss. Mr. Fred is waiting for you inside."

"Okay thank you." Then Katie drove her car into Fred's big and spacious house.

After parking the car right near the terrace, Katie got out. Several guards were seen standing and

watching at some point. It was quite different from Scott's comfortable and home-like residence. There

is no strict security at the Scott residence.

Then, she walked towards the main entrance and two guards stopped her.

"You can stop here and tell me what you need?" said one of the guards.

“I want to meet Mr. Fred. He had known of my arrival. Please ask him," said Katie.

Then the two guards went inside and asked Fred about Katie. Not long after, they came out and let

Katie in. She walked slowly into the luxurious and spacious house that looked uninhabited and very

Then, someone called out to her. "Katie, go up to the second floor and meet me at the very end of the

room."
