"Almost everything, but still vague," said the mysterious man.

"What are they?" Katie asked curiously.

“Umm, do you want to know? The problem is that you're one of them."

"What? What do you mean I'm one of them?" Katie asked, felt a bit frightened and uneasy.

were looking for Bert, is that right?” the man asked, glaring at Katie.

There was no other way for Katie but to admit that she had indeed been looking for Bert and Mrs.

Jenkins.

that, we looked for Mrs. Jenkins and she wasn't at home either. After that, we haven't done anything,

we just want to know exactly what happened to Scott's dad. That's all," Katie said, starting to get

scared.

"Okay. Your story does make sense and according to my observations, you are not telling lies. Oh

yeah, it's getting late, I'm so sleepy. Let's go to sleep," he said to Katie.

"Yes, sir. I need to go to the bathroom first." Then Katie stood up and walked into the bathroom. In the

bathroom, Katie immediately cleaned herself and put on her kimono. Then, she came out of the

bathroom and found the mysterious man who had fallen asleep.

She hasn't felt sleepy but felt thirsty exactly, then Katie decided to go to the kitchen and see what

drinks she could find. After putting on sandals and tightening the straps of her kimono, she opened the

bedroom door and walked slowly down the stairs to the kitchen.

All the lights in the room in the man's house were still on and only two maids came out of the room at

the same time that the girl didn't know. Then, she took the initiative to greet the two of them.

"Hi, good evening. May I know where the kitchen is?” Katie asked.

“Hi, are you the guest who just came last night?” asked one of the servants.

“Yeah, I just arrived last night. I couldn't sleep and I was thirsty, so I went downstairs and tried to find a

drink in the kitchen,” Katie replied.

"Okay. You can walk straight from here, then after reaching the dining room, turn right and you will find

the kitchen next to the dining room. We went to rest first. Good night, Miss," they said as they left Katie.

"Good night and have a good rest."

Katie kept walking down the living room, into the dining room, and finally to the kitchen. She looked

around, for her the kitchen was very spacious and quiet. Then, she opened the large refrigerator

located in the middle of the kitchen and took a bottle of mineral water.

After closing the refrigerator and propping herself up on the kitchen table, Katie took a leisurely drink

and thought about the next steps she and Scott should take. The mysterious man knew quite a lot and

that meant they had to move more carefully.

Unexpectedly, Vlad had been observing Katie's movements. The man knew that Katie was a member

of the Blood Moon Pack. While walking slowly and sneakily, then Vlad called the girl in a low voice.

"Katie," he called.

Katie was so shocked that she almost choked on the water that had just entered her mouth.

Spontaneously, the girl immediately turned around and looked for the presence of the voice calling her.

"Who are you? And how do you know my name?” she asked curiously.

Then, Vlad appeared in front of Katie. He asked the girl to be quiet and not to scream. He raised his

hands and showed her that he did not have bad intentions.

"Who are you? And do I know you?” Katie asked curiously, taking a few steps back from the man.

“Shhh calm down, I'm harmless and I don't have any bad intentions towards you. My name is Vlad and

I am the leader of the High Court special forces assigned to guard here. I know that you are a member

of the Blood Moon Pack. I have something to say before someone notices me," said Vlad.

"Tell me quickly what your need is and why did you suddenly come to me?" Katie asked again.

“I accidentally saw you enter this house. I know for what purpose you came here. I think our goal is the

same. Don't you want to know where Bert and Mrs. Jenkins?"

“I still can't believe that our goals are the same. You are that man's subordinate and I must be wary of

you."

“It's your right to be wary of those you think are related to him. But, you don't have much time. You

have to find Bert and complete all these missions before he finds out.”

"Do tell quickly where Bert and Mrs. Jenkins are?"

“Bert is in the middle of the eastern forbidden forest, you can enter the forest through the road that is

on the outskirts of Stowe. He lived with an old lone wolf. At that time he was seriously injured and I

take care of the rest from here. How?" asked Vlad.

“It has to work, otherwise things will get worse. His power is growing and his position is getting stronger

in the High Court."

"Okay, I promise."

"Thank you, Katie. I go now."

Then, Vlad hurried away from there. Unexpectedly, the mysterious man came down and looked for

Katie's whereabouts. From the other end of the room, he called out, “Katie, where are you?”
