Chapter 17 An Awkward Relationship

Inside the car, Mu Zhi was blushing from her own cries.

She raised her head and looked up at Lu Jinye. His eyes were cold, hinting spite.

His hand slid across Mu Zhi’s skin. Mu Zhi closed her eyes and groaned through her teeth.

Lu Junnian could not help but increase his pace as he heard moans after moans.

This was clearly a declaration of war!

His fists were clenched tightly, and his veins swelled.

However, before Lu Junnian could get to Lu Jinye’s car… Lu Jinye turned over the engine and left.

Leaving Lu Junnian no chance at all.

Along with the roar of Lu Jinye’s sports car engine, he ordered Mu Zhi, “Turn off your phone.”

She acted exceptionally obedient. The both of them did not mention anything about Lu Junnian. Mu Zhi was so tired that she fell asleep in a jiff in Lu Jinye’s arms.

The next day, Mu Zhi was awakened by the phone. Looking at the name flashing on the screen, she couldn’t help frowning and uttered softly, “Honey, answer the phone, it’s Miss Xiao Qingqing.”

“Pick it up for me.”

Lu Jinye’s low voice came through the bathroom.

Mu Zhi thought she heard him wrong…

He said to let her pick it up.

What was her identity? And what was Xiao Qingqing’s identity… Her picking the call?

Therefore, she did not dare answer the phone, but only turned it to silent mode and put it back on the bedside table.

After a while, the sound of running water in the bathroom ceased abruptly. Lu Jinye walked out of the bathroom and wiped his soaked hair with a towel. Droplets of water slid down his skin, making him look delectable. Anyone could stare at such a figure without getting tired ever.
