“I’ve already said that this is just an imitation of the 15th century, painted by an unknown painter.
“I offered ten thousand dollars, which was already a high price. And now you’re saying that you can earn a million dollars after buying it. You can’t even identify antiques, young man. Why do you have to waste your money?”
The two bodyguards behind Waylon also looked at Leonard with disdain.
But at this moment, David was afraid that Leonard would go back on his word, so he swiped Leonard’s bank card on the machine directly.
After the payment was successfully made, David packed the painting up for Leonard.

Waylon was about to leave, but he couldn’t help but stop, staring intently as David dug up the nails.
David stretched out and brushed off the nails. Then, an edge of the painting was fully exposed.
However, there was no autograph behind the canvas.
If the secret of this painting could be exposed so easily, then the effort of the person who had mounted it would be in vain.
“Young man, now you know that it’s not easy to identify the real treasure. You should go back and study about antiques before you purchase anything else. I’m sure you’ve learned a lesson after wasting those 16 thousand dollars.”
Waylon shook his head. He sounded like he was lecturing Leonard.

If Leonard actually found the painter’s autograph, David would embarrass himself and suffer a huge loss. But now, he felt much relieved.
Unexpectedly, Leonard remained calm and ordered flatly, “Keep going.”

David hesitated.
“I’ve already removed part of the nails, but you haven’t found what you want. If you can’t find anything after the frame is fully removed, you can’t ask for a refund.”
“Don’t worry. I won’t do that.”
Leonard said impatiently.

He shook his head and picked up the hammer again.
Waylon also felt speechless.
Soon, the nails on the second edge were removed.
Seeing that there was still nothing behind the canvas, David put on a smug smile again.
