Chapter 14: 14

Akash POV

I entered the living hall and saw Dharani going inside the kitchen. I went to the kitchen and saw shanthi

maa and Dharani talking to eachother.

"Do you want anything Dharani" maa asked her. I looked at her she is looking so pale.

"I came here to cook breakfast" she said and started picking stuff.

"You don't need to Dharani. I will make breakfast you go and have some rest Dharani" maa said and

caressed her head.

"No aunty, I am the maid here and I should work or else he will become angry" she said and turn on the

stove.

I have to do something I thought and went inside the kitchen.

"Go and take some rest Dharani" I said and both the ladies turned towards me. I saw maa is looking

angry at me and Dharani, I can't read her emotions.

"I am fine sir and I will prepare breakfast" she said and turned to continue her work.

Sir? Why is she calling me like that?

I quickly went near her and scooped her in my arms and walked towards our room.

"What are you doing leave me, leave me" she yelled hitting my back with her small fists but it is not

hurting me.

I walked inside the room and she was struggled in my grip but I held her strong.

I bend to the bed and put her gently on the bed. She quickly tried to get up but I pinned her hands to

the bed and moved close to her.

"Wh.... what are you do.... doing?" she asked me moving back.

"Just stay here and have rest. You don't need to do any work" I told her and she frowned.

"I am not the princess of this house to lay on bed and take rest. I am a maid" she said to me and hurt is

clearly visible in her face but she masked it quickly.

You are not the maid, you are an angel, yes she is an angel and I want to tell her loudly but I stopped

thinking what will she say.

"Just take rest" I told her and left the room.

I went to the kitchen and went to maa.

"Maa" I called her and she looked at me.

"Maa please talk to me" I pleaded her but she turned to other side.

"Maa please I know I did wrong but I realized my mistake maa, please forgive me" I asked her in a

pleading tone.

"I am not the one who should forgive you Akash, anyone who should forgive is Dharani. Go and ask for

her forgiveness" she told me coldly.

"I will definitely get her forgiveness maa but please for that I want your help please" I asked her.

"Why you need my help Akash when you did all this mistake on your own then you should solve it by

your own" she said and I hugged her tightly and cried.

"Maa please don't talk to me like that please. Please forgive me maa" I said to her and she broke the

hug.

"I already forgive you Akash the moment you realized your mistake but you should work hard to get

Dharani's forgiveness" she told me and I nodded.

Later she asked me to take food for Dharani and handled me a plate. I took her food to the room and

opened the door and saw Dharani is not on bed. I kept the tray on the coffee table and looked for her.

She is sleeping on the floor on the other side of bed.

"Dharani" I called her patting her shoulder.

She quickly opened her eyes in a jolt.

"I woke up please don't beat me" she said and moved back. novelbin

"Dharani look it's me Akash" I told her and tried to go near her but she moved back further. I went to

her and held her wrist.

"Dharani look at me" I shook her and she came into senses and looked at me.

"No one will hit you and No one will ever hurt you as long as I'm alive",I promised her. She looked at

me with some unreadable emotions in her eyes. Her big doe eyes boring into mine.

Then suddenly she jerked my hand. I sighed "I brought you breakfast come and have it" I told her and

tried to hold her hand to make her stand but she moved back and stood on her own.

I took the tray and placed it one bed and looked at her, she is just looking what I am doing.

"Have your breakfast" I told her.

"Did you had your breakfast" she asked me. I am so happy to know that she cares for me now also.

"No" I told her.

"First you eat " she told me still standing.

"Why? I asked her.

"Because maids don't eat before their Boss" she said and left from there.

I sat on the bed holding my head in between my hands. What have I done. I have done a huge

mistake. But I will not give up, I will try my level best to get her forgiveness.

I went down taking the untouched tray. Maa looked at me and then the tray and gave me a sad look. I

gave her a sad smile.

"She didn't had her breakfast" I told maa sadly.

"But where is she?" I asked her and she pointed at the garden.

I went to her and saw her sitting on the grass and lost in her thoughts.

"Dharani" I called her and she jolted in her place.

"Do you want anything sir" I am observing her she is calling me sir from morning.

"Why are you calling me a sir Dharani?" I asked her.

"Because maids should give respect to their boss, sir" she said stressing the word sir.

"Stop it Dharani. Stop calling me like that" I told her getting irritated by her calling me sir.

"No sir, I should give you respect" she said and started walking.

"Where are you going now?" I asked her.

"I can't sit idle right Sir" she said and went inside.

Dharani POV

I'm going to ask him to apply divorce, because I can't live in this house with him. I know I can't go to my

uncle's home after he gives divorce to me but I can't stay here.

When I asked him for divorce he shouted at me saying I have to be with him 'Till death do us part' . But

I don't want to.

Later he asked me to have breakfast and I got shocked seeing him like this caring about me. Maybe he

is behaving like because he wants to show that he cares for me infront of shanthi aunty. Whatever it is,

a beast never changes and when aunty goes from here then he will come back into his beast mode. I

didn't heard his words and completed the works in his house. Aunty tried to stop me but I didn't listened

to her. If I stop working now and when aunty goes from here then he will hit me no I can't do this.

"Dharani have dinner with us" Shanthi Aunty told me.

"No aunty first you and sir have your dinner then I will have mine" I told her and she asked me so many

times but I didn't listened to her and went to kitchen.

Later I had my dinner and slept in the kitchen. Sleep is far away from me whenever I close my eyes I

see Dhruv trying to force me. My body started shivering thinking about it and my heart is beating fast I

quickly got up and drank some water and laid on the floor. Soon I drifted into deep sleep.....
