Dharani POV

Avinash brother brought me to his home. I got down and about to take my bags but he took them from
my hands and took them inside. I am just looking at his disappearing figure I don't want to believe him
but I don't have any other option too I have to live here. He asked me one chance and I thought to give
him. I also want my brother back but I don't have courage to believe him after whatever worst
happened to me because of believing others.
I loved Akash, yes I fell in love with him at the very first sight, I felt so happy when he signed the
register papers thinking he will make me come out of the hell. I always did my duties sincerely like a
wife, but he never considered me as his wife and the worst part is he..... he send Dhruv to have me. It
broke my heart into pieces thinking that the person I loved did this to me. Now I got clear that I am not
meant for happiness, I don't deserve a beautiful and happy life.
"Maa please I can't eat much I am full" sanaya said to aunty who is feeding her by her hands.
"You are my good baby" she asked her lovingly and sanaya nodded her head.
"Then have this last morsel" she said and fed her the last morsel.
I am standing far away from them and watching them how aunty is feeding my sister. I also wish to eat
food from my mom's hand but I don't have mom.
"Mom she is seeing my food" sanaya said pointing me.
"You little maid! come here" aunty said and I went near her. She slapped me on my right cheek.
"How dare you to eye my daughter's food" she shouted at me.
"I am not seeing her food " I told her holding my cheeks.
"How dare you lie to me. Today you will not have your food. If I see you having food then you will know novelbin
the consequences" she said angrily and went from there.
"You don't have a mom to feed you like this, so sad" sanaya said and pushed me making me fall on the
ground.
Why you left me mom, why did you left me with these people they are very bad. I cried complaining to
my mom but I didn't got any reply from her.
That day I didn't ate my food as aunty said if I dare to eat anything then they will give me punishment
so I didn't dared to eat.
"Dharani, where were you lost" I came out of my thoughts listening to Avinash.
"Nothing" I told him and he led me inside his house.
"Did you like it" he asked me and I just nodded my head.
"You take some rest I will bring breakfast" he said and about to go but I stopped him.
"I will make breakfast" I told him but he tried to say something but I cut him off.
"I don't want to sit idle, so I will make breakfast" I told him and he sighed.
I made breakfast and kept the vessels on the dining table.
"Looks amazing" he said looking at the breakfast. I served him and stood beside him.
"Won't you eat" he asked me. I didn't ate with anyone till now, everytime I used to eat when everyone
eats their food.
"You also sit and have breakfast with me" he said and made me sit on the chair. He took an morsel and
kept it near my mouth.
"I will feed my little sister" he said to me.
"You are not there when I wanted to eat from your hands and now I can eat by myself" I told him and
started eating my breakfast. He didn't said anything and had his breakfast.
After eating breakfast, I took the plates and put them in kitchen.
I saw him coming with his office bag, "I am going to office and you take care of yourself" he said to me.
"I want to say something" I told him he looked at me frowning.
"I don't want to be a burden on you. Since I am living here I will do all the chores of house and I will
cook food for you so in this way I will pay you for my stay" I told him and he looked at me shockingly.
"What..... no Dharani I didn't brought you here to make you work like a maid. I brought you here
because I want my sister to be happy and you don't need to do anything like that" he told me.
"I am not your sister, I am an orphan and I don't have anyone and you don't need to worry about me. I
will do all the works of your home" I told him.
"This is our home Dharani and please don't say you are an orphan. I am there for you Dharani please
don't make me more guilty" he said sadly.
"You do whatever you like but please don't think you are an orphan" he said to me. Whatever it is I
don't have anyone here.
"Bye take care" he said and kissed my forehead I just stood there silently. He left home and I closed
the door and started working.
I am passing through the living room and I heard the doorbell ringing and went to open the door. I
looked at the person standing infront me and got scared seeing him. What is he doing here, why he
came here when Avinash is not at home. Will he take me with him. No I don't want to go with him I will
never go with him.
"Won't you invite me inside Darlington" he asked me and dashed inside the house.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him shockingly..
