Claire threw the dress on the floor and glared at Darren.
"Sierra will never get to have the things I like because she doesn't deserve them! And you!" She pointed her finger at him.
"It was me who dumped you and your family! Don't forget that."
Then, she turned and scowled at Sierra.
"I don't mind you dating the man I abandoned.After all, some people like picking up trash that others discard.There's no point in stopping such people."
"Wow!"
The onlookers gasped in shock.
They were all surprised to hear her refer to Darren as trash.
Darren's face darkened, but he continued to remain calm.He never expected Claire would despise him so much.
A moment's silence elapsed as everyone stared at him in shock after hearing Claire's remarks.
Meanwhile, a middle-aged man dressed in a suit walked over and looked at them.
The saleslady looked at him and breathed a sigh of relief.She respectfully bowed before him and briefly explained the situation to him.
Everyone understood he was the manager.He helplessly looked between Claire and Sierra.иσνєℓєвσσк.¢σмHis shop was unnecessarily involved in such a trouble.
Sierra returned to her senses and walked up to the manager.
"We were planning to buy this dress, but this woman tore it.She just raised the price of the dress to one million.Claire has to pay for it."
Considering Claire increased the price of the dress and ripped it apart, she deserved to pay one million for it.
Just then, a resonant voice caught their attention.
"What's going on? Why has a crowd gathered here?"
Nathan stood protectively in front of Claire with an ice cream in his hand.
Darren's face darkened when he saw Nathan.He realized Claire hadn't come alone.
The shop manager rubbed his temples when he saw Nathan.He couldn't understand why the two big shots of the city were in his shop.He suppressed his nervousness and greeted him warmly.
"Hello, Mr.Williams.What a pleasant surprise.Why are you here today?"
The entire mall belonged to the Williams Group.This store was one among the many shops in the shopping mall.
The manager could offend neither Darren nor Nathan.
"Mr.Lambert."He nodded politely.
Nathan then ignored the shop manager, turned, and handed the ice cream to Claire.
"Rum raisin ice cream.Your favorite."
"Thank you."
Claire smiled sweetly and took the ice cream.
"I was just gone for a while.Claire, were you..."
Nathan turned and smiled at Darren.
"Were you quarreling with Mr.Sampson?"
"Miss Brooks likes the same dress I picked, so I tore it."
Claire licked the ice cream and linked her arm with Nathan's.
Darren's jaw tightened as Claire stepped closer to Nathan.
Sierra didn't expect that Claire would have come with Nathan.
She still remembered being humiliated at the banquet.иσνєℓєвσσк.¢σмBut she didn't think it was a big deal.
After all, influential men like Nathan would only regard Claire as a plaything.
Sierra believed Claire was ruining her life by hooking up with all wealthy men for money.
"We were about to pay the bill, but she ripped the dress apart" Sierra said confidently.
"She has to pay the price for ruining the dress.Claire can't get away with it."
"I'm sorry, she can." Nathan glanced at Sierra indifferently.
"I own this shopping mall.Claire can tear all the dresses if she wants.It doesn't matter.She can do whatever she likes.Do you have any objection?"
Sierra's jaw dropped in shock.
Nathan ignored her reaction and looked at the manager.
"I'll pay for the dress."
"Oh, that's unnecessary!"
The shop manager smiled politely.
"It's just a dress.I'll consider it as a gift for this lady."
Sierra's face darkened.She wondered why Nathan was pampering and spoiling Claire.
Darren's jaw clenched; his eyes narrowed.He and Nathan were both business friends as well as rivals.
They knew each other.
"Mr.Williams, you seem to know my ex-wife well," he said, staring into Nathan's eyes.
"Well, you don't have to know about our relationship." Nathan smiled.
"Now that you and Claire are divorced, it's best if you stay out of her life.What do you think, Mr.Sampson?"
