Chapter 15: Philippines

“Loves? Is it okay with you that mommy will be gone for a bit long?” I asked my babies who are now

ready to sleep.

“Is that for work again, Moma?” Red asked.

I nodded and kissed them both on their cheeks. How fluffy.

“How long Moma? I can't miss you that long, I might die.” My baby Blue said making me laugh.

“You can't die, you're my good little baby boy who's love and adored by Jesus. And angels like you will

live for a long long time. Mommy will be gone for 6 months but of course we will always call so you

won't miss me that much, is that alright?” I asked.

They both smiled and nodded. They get up from their beds and hugged me.

“We will still going to miss you mommy. We love you.” They murmured on my neck.

My tears were almost bursting out on my eyes but I hold it in. I don't want them to see that I am the

most affected in this situation.

I sighed after they slept in my arms. We will be leaving tomorrow and Julius will only come with me for

2 days, right after that he'll be back here in Nevada.

It's convenient for me because I want him to take care of my babies. Julius and I were very close that

he's somewhat the father figure of my children.

I went back to my room and prepared my things, from make ups, hygiene, dresses, shoes and etc.

Since it's needed for work, Daryl have my number and he called me very early in the morning for our

flight.

I went to my kids’ room and kissed them goodbye. They were still asleep so they didn't saw me cried.

Six months is fuckin long.

Someone picked me up and drove me to the airport. When I was there, both Cindy and Daryl were

there. Daryl looks annoyed and immediately get the things I am holding.

He has men but he really insisted. Gentleman huh? Good for him.

Cindy looks a bit alarmed from her husband's kindness, she looked at me from head to toe and walked

When we're inside the plane. I almost cried again; I am missing my babies. They are my strength and I

can't even imagine being far from them this long.

I may have been busy, but I never forgot to have quality time with them.

I sighed and looked at my left side only seeing Daryl who's staring at me intently. I didn't care and

shifted on my seat to have a better sitting position. I would love to sleep for the whole trip than depress

myself from thinking that I'll be leaving my babies for fucking 6 months.

We arrived in the Philippines at exactly 6:00 pm. The moment I step out of the NAIA I wore my face

mask. This is still the same, dust and the polluted air. Well, I guess some things will never change.

Daryl have 4 cars to pick us up. Since he's with his wife, they're on the other car and I was on the white

BMW.

I was amazed looking on the billboards, new actresses and actors modelled the brands that I am not

even familiar anymore. Although I never wanted to be back here, some part of me longed for the place

where I grew up.

We arrived at the hotel he provided for me. Well, it's not really a hotel because it was inside his

building. Well, whatever you call it.

“Honey we don't have to guide her door to door.” I heard Cindy's annoyed voice.

She's right, someone picked me up to guide me to my room but he insisted to come with us. What a

really really good boss he is then.

“I am fine here.” I said when I reached the door.

“You may look inside and tell us the problems.” Daryl said.

I looked at him and shrugged.

“I will.” I answered and was about to close the door when he stopped me.

What's his problem again!

“I didn't check this room yet because I was in Nevada. Maybe I could check first?” He said.

I almost rolled my eyes. I am aware that he's just being a good employer but he's being sweet and it's

ugly to hear. Especially that his employees were looking at each other weirdly.

“As you say.” I said and bit my lower lip in too much irritation.

Cindy didn't have a choice but check the inside too. I only waited outside with his employees.

“You really look gorgeous in real!” Said the girl employee ecstatically.

I only smiled.

“Can I have a picture with you?” She asked.

I said yes that made some of his male employees grab the chance to take a picture with me too.

I removed the trench coat that I was wearing revealing my ripped jeans and off shoulder white top. It's

in deep V-neck revealing my cleavage. I just wore a white sneaker but it seems like I'm way taller than

them still.

“What is happening here?” Daryl asked annoyed.

“They just want some pictures.” I answered.

He looked at me from head to toe and frowned.

He's clenching his jaws while looking at his employees.

“Back to work.” He said that made them stand straighter than usual.

Tss, I thought he's a good boss, but it seems like he's being unfair to his other employees.

“Ron, call the security agency. Hire 4 for Neysha.” He said before he walked out.

I raised an eyebrow.

He's really something.

I shrugged and get inside. Before closing the door, I glanced at him. Our eyes met.

I don't know if it's just on my imagination but I can see longing in his eyes.

Did he miss me that much?

Then I smirked.
