Chapter 15
When the phone rang, Glenn was only about ten minutes’ drive away from the villa.
He caught a glimpse of the phone. It was from the hospital. He hesitated for a few seconds, and
connected at last.
The doctor's said nervously on the phone. "Mr. Cooper, Miss Celia is bleeding in the operation, and she
is in rescue now..."
Glenn suddenly stopped his car. He frowned, "What?!”
The doctor swallowed his saliva and continued, "Miss Celia was bleeding heavily. She is in rescue. Her
heart had even stopped beating for a few seconds just now. Please come back here as soon as
possible..."
Glenn hung up the phone. He looked at the villa that was about to arrive, and finally turned the car
around and drove it back to the hospital.
When he arrived at the hospital again, the chief doctor was waiting there. As soon as he saw Glenn, he
immediately came to him with a little fear.
“How’s Celia?” Glenn asked.
The doctor wiped the cold sweat on his forehead and carefully replied, "I just came back from the
rescue, and the bleeding has stopped. Now it's stitching."
Glenn's face was frosty and he kept silent.
The director waited nervously, and didn’t dare to say more.
Time passed by.
Glenn's patience was also running out during waiting.
“Are you sure she will be ok?” He asked coldly.
The director nodded nervously and replied, "Yes, of course..."
As soon as he finished, Glenn turned around and left.
He was going to find Emma. He didn't know why the idea flashed back and forth repeatedly in his mind,
as if he would never have a chance to see her again if he didn’t find her now.
The doctor looked flustered. He still remembered Celia's warning, no matter in what way, he must
made Glenn stay until she left the operating room.
“Mr. Cooper. Are you leaving now? Miss Celia hasn’t came out yet...”
The doctor chased up and tried to made Glenn stay.
But Glenn's pace was even faster.
Although his face was as calm as usual, his heart beat quickly. A sense of anxiety filled with his heart.
“Mr. Cooper...” The doctor called him.
"Shut up!" Glenn interrupted him, his eyes were full of warning coldness, "Get away from me!"
The doctor stopped in fear, and did not dare to say a word again.
Glenn turned back, and walked faster and faster toward the gate.
When he got to the gate of the hospital, an ambulance rang to a halt in front of him. As soon as the
door opened, two male nurses hurriedly pushed out a stretcher truck with a slim woman on it.
Glenn glanced at her out of the corner of his eyes, and he suddenly stopped.
“Isn’t that Emma? What’s the matter with her?” Glenn was shocked.
"Get out of the way, the patient is dying! " The male nurse pushed the stretcher and rushed into the
hospital.
Glenn's brain was blank for a moment. When he came back to his senses, he had already chased after
the stretcher truck. He held the truck with his fingers firmly, and his eyes were fixed on Emma who was
on the car.
Emma's face was pale. Her whole abdomen and lower body were covered with blood. She was like a novelbin
rag doll suffering from devastation.
“What’s the matter with her?” Glenn spoke in a low shaking voice .
The male nurse on one side frowned and said, "What do you think? Can't you see she's dying?"
Glenn suddenly grabbed the man's collar and said, "I don't allow her to die! If she die, I will let you pay!
"
The male nurse looked stunned and didn't know what was wrong with the man in front of him.
“Please cut the crap, sir. If you don't let the doctors send her to the rescue room, she will be really
dead!" A middle-aged woman behind them suddenly interrupted at this time.
Glenn turned to looked at the her. He recognized she was the ex-housekeeper of his villa. After Celia
came, she was replaced.
She went back to the villa to get her things today, and found Emma was badly hurt there.
Glenn finally regained his sanity and let go of the male nurse.
The stretcher truck was able to continue to the rescue room.
But before entering the door of the rescue room, a doctor yelled out, "She has no breath!"
