"No! No! No!"

Emma said no for three times, but it didn't affect Glenn's good mood.

He sat on the sofa downstairs. He was very relaxed, and even his mouth raised a rare smile.

Emma didn't know why Glenn keep her staying here. She was so confused.

and swollen after he came back from the outside. He soaked his hand in ice water for a long time. But it

was still swollen.

Maybe it touched Emma so much that she sighed quietly, and after that she became well-behaved.

She thought, anyway, I am alone without my father and mother now. Just let him do whatever he wants.

Glenn intended to repair the relationship with Emma, so every time when Celia came back to him. He

refused to see her with one reason or another, which made Celia alert.

Will Glenn be robbed by Emma again?

Thinking of this, Celia's eyes suddenly became sinister. She picked up her mobile phone and dialed

Jamie's phone.

In an elegant cafe, Jamie looked at Emma's half sister and said the first words since they met.

"Why do you think I will help you?"

She changed her gestures and picked up her mobile phone, as if she didn't care about much about it.

"I still remember the year I left, Emma almost begged me on her knees. She begged me to leave Glenn

and let her marry him. She was willing to carry the usury I owed for me. Do you think a woman who

loves Glenn so much would agree to your proposal?"

Jamie's expression looked the same.

"That's in the past. Emma had told me that when she was in America. She will let go of her past and

"Don't be silly!" Celia sneered with her mouth, then turned her cell phone to Jamie to let him see the

picture clearly.

Jamie's unchanging expression finally showed a crack.

The photo was blurry. It was a steal shot. The two people in the picture were facing the camera with the

sideways of their faces. Glenn was lying on the sofa, and Emma was doing ice compress for his hand.

"Well. Do you believe me now?" Celia sneered and said.

Jamie was angry. he spoke to Celia in a cold voice. "I'll do what you want me to. And I hope you can

arrange everything as planned."

Celia smiled smugly. She stood up and held out her left hand, "well, I wish us a happy cooperation.

Jamie did not hold her hand, but turned away.

Two months had passed by. Emma thought that she should send a message to Jamie. After all, she

had disappeared for so long without any reason. Jamie must be very worried.

But Glenn didn't allow her do do that.

Emma planned to sneak into Jamie's company for a message someday.

And she finally had a chance this day.

Glenn was going on a business trip for a week. She smiled to see off him, and then climbed out of the

high wall at the door.

She had not been a good child since she was a child. It was easy for her to climb trees or the wall.

She didn't do it before just because Glenn didn't like it, but now she's free.

Emma jumped down the tree easily. She clapped the dirt on her hands, and walked to Jamie's

company according to the route she looked up earlier.

When she arrived at Jamie's company, it was already over 4:00 p.m. and she asked the staff at the

front desk. After a while, she saw Jamie coming out of the elevator with flurry.

She was taken to Jamie's office.

"Emma, are you all right? Did Glenn bully you? Wait for me, I'll get you soon." Jamie looked at her

nervously.

What Emma wanted to say was suddenly a little hard to say.

"Jamie, listen to me." Emma said with difficulty.

"Glenn didn't do anything to me. Don't be so nervous. I'm here because I'm afraid you're worried.

Jamie's excited eyes calmed down instantly, which made Emma feel a little uncomfortable.
