Chapter 4

After changing the operation suit, Emma lay down quietly and separated her legs according to the

doctor's order.

Instead of waiting for Glenn to bring her personally to the abortion after he settled Celia down, it was

better for Emma to take the initiative.

She didn’t want people in the hospital to see the drama.

The cold instrument in her body and the sharp pain caused by the curettage hit her severely.

Emma grasped the operating bed and bit her lips, but she still said nothing.

She would always remember the pain and give it back as twice as much to Glenn in the future.

After the operation, the pain made her unable to stand up for a while. She sat alone in the chair outside

the operation room. After half an hour, Emma can finally stand up slowly and walk out by leaning on the

wall.

She walked alone through the long corridor, and on the half way, she met Celia, who was held in

Glenn's arms. The wounds on her forehead and knees were all wrapped in white gauze, and she was

leaning in Glenn's arms and talking with him in a sweet smile. Glenn looked down at her, the

expression his eyes was soft.

Emma stood still, but the pain between her legs grew more intense, making her barely able to stand.

"Emma? You're still in the hospital?" Celia saw Emma and asked her innocently.

Glenn also stared coldly at Emma.

"I've aborted the baby." Emma said in a husky voice as her fingers clenched again, and smiled weakly.

She raised her eyes to look at Glenn.

The light in the hospital was pale and bright. It fell into Emma's limpid eyes, just like stars scattered in

the sky at night.

Glenn's heart suddenly stirred a little bit, and he felt some strange emotion flashed through his heart

and soon disappeared.

"You’d better did." Glenn said. He held Celia firmly, and walked by Emma. "It's finished, get out of my

way right now. ”

Emma's body trembled, and finally she couldn't stood straight and fell to the ground.

It was midnight. The corridor was silent. The sound of her falling was very clear.

But Glenn didn't even stop for half a second.

"Glenn, Emma looks so bad. Shall we take her home?" Celia's seemed to be worried.

"Just leave her alone! She will only be in the way! " Glenn said.

Emma slowly pulled out a smile, but tears finally slip down from the corner of her eyes.

The pain after the abortion made her unable to walk. She had no choice but to stayed in the hospital.

After rested for one day, she left the hospital in the evening and took a taxi home.

But when she opened the door of the villa, she saw an unexpected guest. Celia sat on the sofa in her

living room.

“Emma? Finally you’re back.”

Celia was lying gracefully on the sofa. She looked at her new done nails and said, "give me a glass of

water. From now on, you are going to take care of me at home."

Emma frowned, “Who let you in ?”

Celia sat up straight: "Of course Glenn. He said it's inconvenient for me to walk now. So he invited me

to live here and you have to take care of me."

Emma had just had an operation, and she couldn't even take care of herself. Not to mention looking

after Celia.

But Emma didn't want to quarrel with Celia here, in case she said she was bullied by Emma again.

Emma turned around and left.

She looked up straight into Glenn's eyes, and slowly said, "Sorry, I'm not gonna sign it."

They were expecting her to leave alone after losing everything, so that they two could be together?

NO WAY!

“How dare you?” Glenn was angry.

Emma looked at Glenn's cold eyes, she was not afraid of him anymore, “I said, I won't agree to divorce,

Glenn. You killed my baby without giving me a chance. And now you want to kick me out and to be with

Celia? No way! I won’t let you feel any better than me. I will never ever...agree to divorce!”

Glenn was in a towering rage. He stepped forward and grabbed Emma's slender neck with his big

hand.

He just need to use a little strength, and the fragile neck in his hand could be easily wrung off.

“Don't be cheeky, Emma! Sign it right now! " Glenn threatened Emma, and at the same time he

tightened his fingers to give Emma the pain of suffocation.
