Emma stretched out her hands and grasped Glenn’s wrist. She didn’t struggle or shout, but looked at

him calmly, “I will never sign it. You’d better strangle me, or I won’t sign it even if I have to die.”

The woman who had always been obedient finally had the courage to disobey him today.

The anger in Glenn’s heart suddenly blew up.

“Glenn, please don’t hurt Emma.” Celia suddenly rushed over and embraced Glenn’s waist. “It’s OK if

Emma don’t want to divorce. I don’t mind that.”

Emma looked at Celia who was acting, then she sneered.

“Get out!” Glenn picked up Celia and drove Emma off.

Emma stood up and walked away without any hesitation.

She walked out of the villa and looked around at the dark street in a daze. For a while, she didn't know

where she could go.

Her mother’s home?

Since her father divorced her mother and married her stepmother, her mother had reorganized her own

family. She didn’t know whether it would be a disturbance if she went to her mother’s home.

But she really didn't have anywhere to go except her mother's.

Emma took a taxi to the suburbs at last.

It was late at night when she arrived.

Emma hesitated for a while and finally knocked on the door of her mother's house. She knocked for a

long time, but there was no answer. Emma was depressed. She thought that her mother didn't

welcome her.

The neighbor's door opened when she was about to leave.

"Are you looking for Mrs. Hughes?" Asked the kind neighbor.

The neighbor sighed and said, "Then go to the hospital quickly. Your mother is seriously ill."

Emma's brain was blank and she rushed to the hospital.

Fortunately, her mother's illness was discovered so early that an operation could save her life.

But the surgery would cost 30 thousand dollars in total, which her mother and her poor stepfather could

not afford.

Emma looked at her mother's haggard face. She smiled and said, "mom, don't worry, I'll help you raise

the money for the operation."

After leaving the hospital, Emma thought for the solution anxiously. Her own father wouldn’t help her.

What was worse, she had never got any money from Glenn. Even the daily expenses of the villa were

paid by herself. All her salary were ran out every month. So she didn’t have any savings at all.

Now she need 30 thousand dollars. How could she get it?

Asked Glenn for it in exchange of the divorce?

No! The jerk would just gonna take advantage of her.

Emma looked up and her eyes fell on a nightclub across the street.

She would not compromise with Glenn even if she had to be a prostitute.

Didn’t he keep saying that she was a bitch? Then she could just be one as he wished!

Anyway, she had been infamous for a long time. She had lost her dignity and everything. But before
