When Dad walked in , the rage on his face was palpable . I knew he was angry at me but I wasn’t wrong either . ” Elijah . ” Mom began . ” Not now Red . This time I’m not going to listen . ” He said quietly . ” I think we all need to calm down first . ” Liam said . Forever the peacemaker in the family , but I was glad he wasn’t angry ; I will talk to him about Damon later . I owe him that much . ” Don’t tell me to calm down . ” Dad growled . ” Elijah baby , he’s right . ” Mom said as she walked over to him , wrapping her arms around him and burying her head in his neck .
