Chapter 21- Amara

From the look on Arthur’s face he knew he screwed up. Christine was beside herself, crying over her

injured child. Yes! That bastard was alive. My feelings for him have surprisingly reduced since morning.

Not completely gone but it’s a progress. I think papa worked his magic. I wish he was here beside me

but because of my asshole of a mate he is inside me, lying dormant. I just hope I get to give him his life

back someday. First things first. I need to convince Tyler to let Leo have control back.

“Hey Tyler.” I called successfully gaining his attention. “You need to give control back to Leo. You know

you shouldn’t take over his body like that. Besides I have something important to talk to him. Actually to

tell that to the both of you.”

“I know.” He said engulfing me in his arms and burring his nose in neck. novelbin

He was sniffing me.

“You know sniffing a female is rude right. I could literally kick you in the balls for that.” I joked making

him chuckle.

“I just want to take your scent in to calm myself down. You are the best calming therapy for me there is

at the moment.” He teased.

“I am a therapy now.” I gasped out feigning offense.

“Yup.” He said putting me back of my feet and grinning at me.

It looked more dangerous as his canines were still out.

“I missed you princess.” He said with a broken look, all the playfulness gone. “I am sorry I couldn’t

protect you.”

“I missed you too big bro. Don’t beat yourself about it. You are the best big brother there is. Well

besides Ryder. He will throw a fit if he heard about me calling you the best brother. I love you both

equally but he won’t be satisfied with that.” I said chuckling.

“Yeah.” Tyler replied laughing. “He does not like to share you. Not even with me. Papa was the only

exception.”

“More like he didn’t have a choice or papa would have beat his ass to Timbuktu.” I snorted.

Papa. I miss him.

“See you princess.” Tyler said dolefully.

His canines and claws started shrinking back. He closed his eyes for a few seconds and opened them

again. They had stopped glowing.

“You wanted to talk about something?” Leo asked.

“So you are Leo right?” Stan asked confused.

“Yeah dude.” Leo replied. “My wolf took over all of sudden but I was fully conscious. Kind of like being

in the back seat of my head.”

“I am sorry about that. My brothers get a little over protective when it comes to me.” I apologized.

“Don’t be. I would have done the same thing he did.” Leo said smirking. “Maybe worse. You are part of

our pack Amy and also one of the Alphas. I acknowledge your importance in this pack and so does

everyone else. What Asher did is a crime. He will go through the punishment my wolf gave him and so

will Arthur and Christine for supporting him. I will make sure of it.”

“Thanks Leo. Thank you guys for helping me.” I said smiling gratefully at all of my pack mates.

“Let’s get to what you wanted to tell me. Okay?” Leo said. “Let’s go to my house.”

We entered his house and sat on the couch in the living room.

“Where’s everyone?” I asked out of curiosity.

“Mom and dad are inside, giving us privacy. Don’t worry. They won’t hear a thing. Stella is at her

parents for a couple days.” He replied.

“Oh.”

“So…?”

“Umm…Well…where should I start?” I started nervously. Leo waited patiently. “Papa… he isn’t dead.” I

gulped as Leo narrowed his eyes at me. I took a deep breath and told him everything.

“So he is inside you?” Leo asked shocked out of his mind. I nodded. “And at some point you will be

able to shift like us?”

“Yes.” I whispered.

There was pin drop silence as Leo gawked at me, thinking about what to say I guess.

“Cool.” He said smiling brightly to my utter shock. “We will have another wolf in the pack. Powerful at

that.” I blew out the breath I didn’t knew I was holding. “But wait… doesn’t that mean you will be the

Alpha wolf as well. You will have a higher position than me.”

He looked conflicted about it. Shit! I didn’t think about that at all.

“I didn’t think about that before.” I murmured. “I don’t want to out right you or anything. I swear, I don’t.

You are my Alpha and that’s going to be it. I might be an Alpha with or without a wolf but Tyler is older

than me and that means you are the Alpha. I know Papa and Ryder agrees with that too and I agree

with that as well. I won’t create any problems. I promise.” I rambled desperately.

This is giving a headache. Alphas do not like a threat to their positions. Why do I always create

problems for others?

“Hey! Calm down. I know you won’t create any problems. I am just happy that I have you by my side to

take care of the pack.” He said smiling at me.

I blew a breath to relax myself. Geez I thought I might get thrown out by him.
