Chapter 22- Amara

“Well then I should get going before Ryder has a panic attack and comes here growling his ass off.” I

said laughing at the image of Ryder throwing a tantrum.

“Yeah.” Leo replied chuckling.

I got up and left his house with him behind me. Carter and Caleb came barreling towards me, winching

a little.

“What did we miss?” Caleb asked.

“Shouldn’t you be resting?” I asked narrowing my eyes at them.

“Well?” Carter asked totally ignoring my comment.

“Nothing much. Tyler sort off clawed Asher’s insides out but he is alive and kicked him off his position.

Ryan is the new third in command now.” I told them.

“I should have been awake to see all that.” Carter said pouting while Caleb nodded really fast making

me laugh.

“Disturbing things aside. I am going back to the cabin. Ryder must be on edge by now.” I told them

waving goodbye. “Thank you guys for all the support you gave me.”

“We are coming with you.” The twins said at the same time creeping the hell out of me.

I have never seen them do that.

“No you are not. You are going home and taking a long rest to recover quickly.” I scolded them.

“But…” Again the synchronization thing.

“No buts. I will drop Alec off to the apartment. Go rest.” I said waving them off.

They turned around pouting and slumped all the way back to their home. They are just adorable.

“I will see you later Leo.”

“I will drop you off. I don’t think you should be walking long distances in your condition just yet.” I

opened my mouth to protest but he cut me off. “I am not listening to anything wait here while I shift and

I do have to meet the witch and the warlock.”

It was my turn to pout now. Leo shifted behind a tree and came in front of me to climb on his back and

we took off towards the cabin. It feels nice to see Tyler again. I hopped off his back as he stopped in

front of the cabin. Cassidy, Alec and Grayson were sitting near the front door of the cabin with Ryder in

the same place I felt him at. What am I going to do with him? They got up as soon as they saw us. Leo

went behind a tree to shift back and came back with basketball shorts on. Where did he get that from

again?

“Alpha Ryder.” Leo said bowing at Ryder which he replied with a nod.

He still looks a little grumpy.

“You must be the Alpha.” Cassidy said extending her arm to shake.

Leo looked vivid for a moment but took her palm in his in the end and then shook hands with Grayson

as well. I imagined lasers flying out of Leo’s eyes which did not help the situation as I giggled at the

very wrong moment. Boy, did he looked mad. I can say he did not like them on his land.

“Leo this is my land lady and also the witch who helped me, Cassidy.” I introduced to lessen the

tension. “This is Grayson her husband. He is a warlock.” I turned towards Cassidy and Grayson. “This

is Leorio, the Alpha of our pack.”

“Thank you for helping us.” Leo said in a stiff voice.

Oh lord! Just loosen up a little.

“Its no problem Alpha. We are glad we could help.” Cassidy said in a formal tone.

I have never seen her so up tight. Conclusion… they do not like each other. I looked at Alec boggled.

He gave me the same expression making us grin at each other. We quickly looked away as we would

have gone into a full blown laughing fit.

“Alec come with me. I will take you back to Caleb’s house.” Leo said.

Alec nodded and hugged the life out of me.

“Don’t leave without telling me.” he said looking at me with worry.

I nodded. He hugged me once more and left with Leo.

“Lets go.” Ryder said in the mind link.

Well someone is impatient.

“Can you guys wait here?” I asked Cassidy and Grayson. “I need to talk to Ryder in private.”

“Sure child. Go ahead.” Cassidy replied smiling at me.

Ryder scooted down so I could climb on and off he went. I have never seen him run so fast. I feel like I

will fly off of his back before reaching wherever we are going. He slowed down to a jog after like ten

minutes or so. I have never come to this part of the woods. Where are we? We passed through a sort

of energy field. It felt weird at first but in a good way. It felt like I was going home. Like I entered through

the main door of my home. Its beautiful here. There is a beautiful waterfall in front with flowers and

butterflies giving the little clearing a view like someone threw color bombs everywhere but in a really

beautiful way. The water was sparkling in the sun.

“This is where we used to live before we found you. Papa wanted me to show you this.” Ryder said

looking at the flowing water.

“What is this place?” I asked but deep down I knew the answer already.

“It’s home princess.”

Ryder looked so peaceful here. I felt the same too.

“Yeah I kind off felt that.” I said smiling. “Why do I feel like this Ryder? I am not a spirit wolf.” novelbin

“I have a hunch. Its not necessary though. First you need to meet someone.” Ryder started walking

towards the waterfall. “Stay here. I will be right back.”

Ryder disappeared behind the waterfall. There must be a cave or something there. After a couple

seconds he came back but he wasn’t alone.

I gasped in surprise. I knew I was gawking at them with my mouth wide open but I couldn’t help myself.

Somehow I knew who he was. He felt the same as papa and Ryder. He was looking at me with a

confused face. Our staring competition was broken by Ryder clearing his throat. He gave me a amused

look making me close my mouth.

“When?” I asked shocked out of my mind.
