Chapter 26- Steven

I saw her writhe in pain. She looked so vulnerable. Her skin had gotten unusually red. Why does she

have to go through all this? She doesn’t deserve this. Her condition is even worse than mine. She was

screaming herself hoarse. She must be in a lot of pain.

“What can we do to help her?” I asked Cassidy.

“The venom is too far spread as she is marked like two years ago. I am glad they didn’t complete the

bond.” Cassidy mumbled to herself. “Well there is one way.”

She looked at me knowingly.

“No No No. I am not doing that to her.” I said to her disbelief.

“Do whatever you want just make this stop.” Amara said whimpering. “IT HURTS.”

Poor girl. But I can’t do that to her. Besides Austin will kill me if he came to know about this.

“Help the girl out Steven. Atleast she won’t feel the pain.” Cassidy said and left the room in a hurry.

Is she kidding me? I am not doing that.

“Please make it stop.” She whimpered again looking at me.

“You don’t know what Cassidy meant with me helping you.” I said after sitting beside her.

“I…don’t care. Do whatever you want. Please help me. I am begging you.” She begged.

She doesn’t understand.

“You know what I do to drown my pain right?” she replied with a quite yes but it quickly turned to a

scream. I don’t want to see her like that. That guy has ruined her life. Once a happy girl is now in so

much pain that even a stranger will take pity on her. “She wants me to do that with you so you won’t be

in this much pain.”

“Do it.” She replied immediately. She was struggling to speak. “Think of me as one of the women you

She screamed in agony before she can complete her sentence. What she didn’t knew is that I can

never treat her like a slut. Those women can’t even hold a candle to her.

“As you wish. Don’t regret it later though.” I said unwrapping the towel off of her.

“I won’t.” She mumbled breathing heavily.

I removed my t-shirt and sweat pants and hovered over her. I can tell she was scared but the pain

overruled it. Even in this state she looked adorable. Her face was all red. Her eyes were swollen from

the crying. I felt her shudder when my cold hands touched her face. She closed her eyes and leaned

into my hand. Her body temperature was way up than I thought. Even through the clothes she was

wearing, her body felt good against my cold one.

Holly shit! How will I think of her as just a fling if she is going to react like this. I didn’t waste anymore

time and touched my lips to hers. Her lips are addicting. I devoured her lips like my life depended on it.

I tasted the blood on her lips. Her blood. She must have bit her lip earlier. Her blood is the sweetest I

have ever tasted. I wanted more but I knew I shouldn’t. Cassidy was right. This girl is special. She

whimpered against my mouth, holding onto my back a little tighter. She must have been hit with

another wave of pain. As much I don’t want to, I need to move faster.

To my surprise, I want to savor every part of her but I can’t do that now. I took a hold of myself and

started kissing down her jaw. I slowly made my way towards her neck where the mark lies and sucked

She didn’t sound fully convincing though. Her skin was still red but I think it will heal with time.

“Are you really okay? You don’t sound that confident.” I intrigued.

“Well…” She face became more red than before. “It’s coming back I think. It’s not that bad though.”

Her voice was barely above whisper. I can see the pain on her face. She was doing a very bad job at

hiding it.

“You don’t need to hide anything from me. We are doing this to help you. I will be here all night if you

need me.” I assured her.

Her lips trembled and she flung herself on me. I engulfed her in my arms and pulled her over my body.

We stayed like this till her sobs died out. She sat up on my torso, rubbing her eyes in all her naked

glory. Her pale skin shined in the moon light coming from the window. I can feel myself getting hard

again. Shit! She looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes and rested her hands on my chest.

Suddenly her face turned red and she scurried off of me, onto the bed. I didn’t mind you there.

“Sorry.” She mumbled looking at her fingers.

“It’s okay.” I replied.

“Thank you.” She said but winced in the end.

“Are you alright?”

“Yeah.” She said playing with her fingers but I can see she was lying. “Can I ask you something?”

“Sure.”

“Why murder the pillow?” She asked biting her lip in an effort not to laugh but a giggle escaped her lips.

Now it was my turn to be embarrassed.

“I wanted to bite you so I bit the pillow instead.” I mumbled.

The giggles became a full blown laughter. It was the most beautiful sound I have ever heard. She

looked so mesmerising at the moment. How could someone hurt this person? I came out of my

thoughts when I heard a whimper and she laid down with tears in her eyes.

“Tell me the truth. How much is it hurting?” I asked looking her in the eye.

“Its not that bad as before but it still hurts. I think I will be fine after a little rest.” She said wiping her

eyes.

I got up and kissed her lips, weaving my hands through her hairs. I just couldn’t resist it. She was

startled at first but she started kissing me back. Her tiny hands rested on my chest making me shudder

in pleasure. I pulled away as I felt her breath shortening. I rested my forehead on hers. I wanted to kiss

her again but I knew not to. I can’t get attached to her. I pulled her down and spooned her from behind.

“Sleep. You will feel better.” I said kissing her mark.

I felt her shudder as she leaned back towards me. I pulled the duvet over us. She closed her eyes and

after some time I felt her breathing even. She looked like an angel sleeping in my arms. I know I can’t

have her. Austin really likes her. I don’t know how I am going to tell him about this. Well I will think

about that later. I pulled her impossibly closer to me and buried my face in her hair. I don’t remember

when sleep overtook me.
