Chapter 19 Where’s my daddy !

AUSTRALIA.

CITY HILLS HOSPITAL.

Lady red paced up and down, rubbing her palms together.

Kiera was rushed to the hospital not quite long and the doctors are still attending to her.

She heaved and then sat down, contemplating if she should call Elle and inform her about it.

Just then, the doctor came out and she stood up immediately.

"How's she? How's my granddaughter?" She asked worriedly.

The doctor smiled.

"She's fine. It was just shock that made it turn that way and I asked her what she needs a few minutes ago. She says she wants to see her mom. Where's her mum by the way?" He asked.

"She went on a business trip and she won't be back for a while.."

"I'll advise you to call her back and stay with her even for a few days. That would greatly improve her health..."

"Thank you Doctor..." She smiled and the doctor walked away.

"I'm just glad she's safe.." She mumbled to herself and then she took her phone and immediately called Elle.

New Zealand.

Elle sat on the bed, she was watching a movie on her laptop. Tyson left not too long. She was actually at her pent house, she couldn't disclose her real house, at least not now, until she's safe. She took her eyes back to the move and just then, the characters in the movie kissed.

She immediately remembered how she fell on Jason and how their lips met. And then the first kiss they shared together several years ago.

Elle sighed and immediately closed the laptop.

"I shouldn't be thinking of this. I shouldn't be doing this. I'm over him already, I'm not Asanel who was in love with him. I'm Elle.." She thought and closed her eyes, clenching her fists tightly as she did.

"I'm back here for revenge and nothing can make me away from it.." She mumbled to herself and then sighed before she opened her eyes.

She took her phone and was about to call Damien when a call came in immediately.

It was Lady red.

Elle smiled and answered the call almost immediately.

"Mamita.." She called.

"Elle, how are you now?" Lady red asked.

"I'm fine and you? How are you? How's my princess?" Elle asked and then stood up.

"I'm fine but then.." Lady red paused.

Elle furrowed her brows and her heart skipped.

"What happened? Did anything happen to Kiera?" She asked half yelling.

"No, nothing serious happened. She insisted on seeing you so she had an attack but the doctor says it's nothing serious.." Lady red explained and Elle heaved a sigh of relief.

"Thank God.." She mumbled.

"Elle, can you come over and see your daughter, probably tomorrow?"

"I will. I'll take a quick flight to Australia and once I'm done, I'll come back immediately.." She said.

"That's good but make sure they don't suspect! You should make up a quick and strong excuse.." Lady red said.

"Got it Mamita! I know what to do.." She mumbled and then hung up.

As soon as she hung up, her phone rang. It was Damien calling. She answered the call immediately.

"You're at your pent house right?" Damien asked instantly.

"Yeah.." She mumbled and sat down.

"I'm coming over.."

"No, no, no.."

"Just prepare my documents, I'll be taking a quick flight to Australia, late this night.."

"Why? What happened?"

"Kiera had another attack and insisted to see me.."

"What? How's she now? Damien asked with concern.novelbin

"She's fine but you know how Kiera is. Until she gets to see me. She won't agree to her grandma. Just seeing me will calm her.." Elle said.

"Should I go with you then?" He asked.

"Nah, just stay here and take care of things. I'll be back in a day.." Elle said and hung up.

She smirked almost immediately.

"It's time for show!" She laughed and then dailed Tyson's number. He answered the call immediately like he was awaiting her call.

"Beautiful.." He called and she sniffed.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked when he heard her sniff.

"Tyson, I don't know what to do, I'm just tied. My mum's really sick right now and I'm really scared.." Elle faked a teary voice.

"But you called your mom, minutes ago and she was fine.."

"She was just putting on an act for my sake. I just received the news from her assistant that she's sick.." Elle said and smiled.

"Baby, it's okay. Just calm down. Everything will be fine. Don't worry.."

"What are you going to do now?" He asked.

"I'll go back to Australia to see her.."

"That's good, do you want me to come along with you?" He asked and Elle's eyes widened.

"No!" She interjected immediately.

"I meant no need. It's not required. I don't want to be in the way of your work, you have numerous meetings with clients, remember?"

"Yes, that's true.."

"Just take care, hmmm.."

"I will.."

"Bye.." He said and she hung up. As soon as she did, she bursted out laughing.

"Fool!" She muttered.

Meanwhile Tyson was with his dad when he received the call. He sighed and dropped the phone down.

"Was that Elle?" James asked and then took a sip of the drink in his hand.

"Yes, she's leaving for Australia to see her mum but she would be back soon.." Tyson said and James nodded.

"Do you like her?" James asked and Tyson chuckled.

"Woah! That's a direct question dad?" Tyson said and took his glass cup before pouring himself a drink.

"I know you like girls but do you like her in a different way?" James asked again.

"Well dad, yes. I mean what's there not to like about her?"

"She's beautiful, rich, sexy and smart. She's literally my type and that's why I like her differently.." Tyson smiled and sipped from his drink while James just nodded and smiled.

"But the question is, do you trust her dad?" Tyson asked and James smirked.

"I didn't at first but I do now, I like her sense of maturity, and she's extremely brilliant when it comes to business. I trust her.." He told Tyson and Tyson smiled.

"So you know what you have to do? Having her in our family makes us stronger and more richer?"

"Make her fall for you madly, sway her by your charms and then get married to her. Boom! She's only yours then.." James said with an evil grin and Tyson laughed.

"On it dad! Cheers!" He raised his glass and they both clicked their glasses.

Morning.

Australia.

Kiera sat in her room, playing with her iPad. The stubborn girl had refused to stay in the hospital so they had no choice to bring her home.

"Kiera.." A soft voice called and she turned back. She gasped when she saw who was there.

"Mum?!" She yelled and she immediately ran into the arms of her mum.

Elle smiled and kissed her daughter's hair. She badly missed her.

"Mum, I missed you.." Kiera whined and Elle laughed, and they broke the hug.

"I missed you too, my princess.." Elle said and pecked her cheeks.

"Are you back for good now?" Kiera asked and Elle sighed.

"No, I'll go back tomorrow but I'll be back soon, mummy's just busy.." Elle said and Kiera smiled.

"I'm just glad, you are with me. I love you mum..

"I love you too princess.." Elle said wiry a smile.

"Mum, come and help me with my assignments..." Kiera said and dragged Elle away.

An hour later.

"Wow! That's great! My princess is such a good dancer.." Elle said and then gave her a glass of milk.

Kiera smiled.

"I'll be presenting it at this year's funfare party.." Kiera said with a smile before she drank the milk.

"Mummy, I wanted to ask you this.." Kiera said blinking her eyes innocently and Elle wiped off the stains off her mouth.

"What's it?"

Mummy, do I have a daddy?"

Elle froze immediately she heard that.

"I've asked you before but you didn't answer me, do I have a daddy?.."

"No, I'm supposed to have a daddy. My teacher said a child must have a mummy and a daddy but where's my daddy?"
