Chapter 30 The party II

Meanwhile Tyson sat down with a drink, his eyes flickering around. Just then he sighted his brother walking in.

Tyson scoffed and stood up.

"I thought he never attends Dad's birthday party. So what's he doing here?" He asked himself.

Tyson smirked and walked to him.

"Hi bro.." He smiled and Jason nodded.

"It's a surprise to see you here.." Tyson added.

"Why?" Jason furrowed his brows.

Tyson chuckled lightly.

"Is that even a question, Jason?"

"We all know you don't attend Dad's birthday party. You always claim it reminds of the sad event, I meant your mum's dea.."

"Shut up!" Jason said coldly. His eyes were also fixated on Tyson and the coldness in his eyes was visible. He also clenched his fists tightly. novelbin

Tyson chuckled.

"It's been years bro, get over it.. she's gone and so is your lover. They are both gone, you should get used to people leaving you.." Tyson said and Jason immediately grabbed his shirt.

"Tyson, don't make me forget the fact that we are brothers!" He warned and released his shirt.

"So how did the site seeing go with my girlfriend. Did you have a good time?" Tyson smirked and Jason scoffed.

"Now I know why you are so pissed. I went out with Elle and not your girlfriend, as far as I'm concerned. She told me you both are not couples.."

Tyson remained quiet and Jason smirked.

"And about having a good time, I did. She was very fun to be with. Anyways, i need to see dad.?" He added and was about to walk away but then he paused and then leaned closer to Tyson's hear, then he whispered.

"I think I'm starting to like her. Girls like her are my type.." He smiled and Tyson clenched his fists.

"See you later.." Jason said and turned to leave but then his eyes widened when he saw someone and he stood frozen to the spot.

Tyson looked at him wondering why he looked so lost. His eyes followed what he was looking at and then his jaws dropped upon seeing it.

It was Elle making her grand entrance and as usual she stole the spotlight as she was looking beautiful and hot at the same time.

She was putting on a red long sleeve backless mini gown which had glitters on it and her hair was packed into pigtails and it was curled at the base giving her this secy teenage looking vibe. Her make up was smooth, nor exaggerated but elegant also and it made her look so hot.

Even the guests were not left out, Giselle who walked in after her got so angry that she didn't receive any attention like usual.

The brothers were also lost staring at her while Elle kept on smiling as she approached them while murmurs continued, most of them were talking of how beautiful she was.

Elle got to them and smiled.

"Hey.." She waved at them and both of them came to their senses.

"What's with your faces?" Elle asked and Jason sighed.

"Hii.." He said and then made to go but then she grabbed his wrist and pulled him back.

"Are you leaving because I came here?" Elle asked and Jason sighed.

"No.."

"I figured out to give you both some time.."

Elle scoffed.

"Why?" She asked and Tyson rolled his eyes, his eyes glued to Elle's right hand which was still holding Jason's.

He stylishly moved closer and then grabbed Elle's hand, separating Jason's and her hand.

"He's right?"

"Aren't you my date today?" He asked and Elle Elle furrowed her brows.

"What?"

"Of course not. I'm no one's date. I'm the Aunt Lauren's date.." Elle said and chuckled but both brothers didn't chuckle.

"Excuse me.." Jason said and then walked away . Elle sighed.

"Still as cold as always.." She mumbled.

"He should try to forget it. I'm sure his mum won't be happy to see him this way.." She thought.

As Jason made his way to his dad's room, Giselle ran to him and immediately linked their arms together.

Jason was surprised. He turned and faced her.

"What are you doing?" He asked her and he removed his hands from hers.

"Chill, I'm still your fiancee. Our families has not called our wedding off remember?" She smiled and Jason scoffed.

"Giselle, for peace sake. Leave me alone, you wouldn't want my dad's birthday party ruined. I'm pretty sure you know what I can do.."

Giselle moved back slowly and gulped hard. His cold voice already sending shivers down her spine.

"I'll never let our marriage get called off.."

Thirty minutes later.

The party had already started and the senator was giving his speech right now. Elle looked up and both her and Jason's eyes met. She immediately looked away. That's how it had been since. Their eyes will occasionally meet and they would look away or continue staring at each other.

Elle bit her lower lip in frustration.

"Damn! When did this feelings start again? I thought I was over him? When did I start falling for his charms?" She asked herself and just then her phone beeped.

It was a message from Damien.

"The coasts are clear now. You can make your move.." She read and immediately tucked her phone in her bag.

She looked around and noticed most of the audience were lost in the senator's speech while others are busy taking selfies.

She stood up immediately.

"Where are you going?" Tyson asked and Elle faked a smile at him.

"To the rest room, I'm kinda feeling pressed.." She told him anc held her stomach.

"I can go with you.. He offered and Elle quickly shook her head.

"In fine. I've been here once. I still remember it clearly.." She told him and then walked away.

Tyson sighed.

"Sometimes I wonder if she really wants to be around me.." He mumbled.

Elle walked first into the living room and looked around. She smirked and then opened her bag, she brought out the plastic bag and then brought out the cameras also. She quickly moved to the tv and fixed it at it's back and then fixed some on the sofa and table. As she was standing up, a maid walked in.

"Ma'am.." She called and Elle smiled nervously.

"What are you doing here?"

"Hum! Actually I was already on my way out. I was just heading to the rest room.." She said and then walked out leaving the makd confused.

She got to the main passage and smirked. There were different bedrooms everywhere but the problem is where she could find the master's bedroom.

She began checking the rooms one by one. Her phone rang and she immediately answered the call.

"Dam.."

"You only have fifteen minutes left, be fast.."

"Okay.." She said she hung up.

After a while, she saw Tyson's room and she quickly fixed the cameras everywhere. Another while, she found the master's bedroom, she fixed the cctv cameras almost everywhere.

As she was walking away, she looked to the right and found out that an office was there. Elle checked her wristwatch. She had only four minutes left.

She quickly opened the door and then walked in. She fixed the cameras well there too. As she was about to head out, she saw a big safe there. As she walked to it, her phone rang. She answered it immediately.

"Time' s up! Get out of there now.." Damien yelled.

"But Dam, there's a safe here and I'm sure there are important things in it. Things that could implicate James!" She said and Damien groaned.

"Just get out of Elle! Now! I'm sure they have begun looking for you.." He snapped at her however Elle paid no heed. She walked to the safe and noticed it couldn't be opened without a password.

"Shit!" She snapped.

"Wait, I'm going to do something now.." He said and then the lights went off.

Elle smirked and then began to tiptoe outside. As soon as she got out, she sighed. She had not even walked so far when the lights turned on.

Elle rolled her eyes and looked up, her breath hitched at who she saw.
