Chapter 72: Alternate Epilogue

After Three Year

Time doesn't wait for anyone. It's going with its flow and everyone is becoming normal by the passing

time.

Devika's children are now 5 years old and maximum time lives with their father. Though they love their

mamma so much.

Devika has found her soulmate and it's none other than Vikram Ahuja. She took the right decision by

trusting her sister Apeksha because she was right.

Vikaram is a good man and has accepted Devika wholeheartedly and loves her more than anything

else. A few months ago they got married after knowing about each other for almost one year.

He has no problem with Devika's children and the children have also accepted him as their Vikram

uncle. Devika's siblings are also living peacefully with their sister Devika and Apeksha.

On the other hand, Abhinav is now a full-time father. He doesn't disturb Devika's personal life though

every time he felt hurt whenever he saw Devika with Vikram. But he is happy for Devika that she has

found her soulmate whom she loves truly.

In Abhinav's life, only his children are the source of his happiness. He is happy raising his children. He

loves his children more than anything else in his life.

His siblings tried many times to hook him up with another woman but Abhinav refused because he only

loves Devika. He can't give Devika's place to another woman. Every night he sleeps hugging Devika's

saree thinking that she is here with him. In his life, only one woman, he has ever loved and she is

Devika.

Arnav is still trying to earn Apeksh's forgiveness who is still twirling him and making him regret for his novelbin

misbehaviour.

Avantika is busy in her fashion designing career and Arushi has joined Abhinav's office and takes care

of the work whenever Abhinav becomes busy with his children.

Ruhani ma is living in Abhinav's house to give him company always. She has tried many times to marry

off Abhinav but every time Abhinav has refused.

Abhinav's p.o.v

I am standing in front of a children's park waiting for my children. They will be here anytime with their

mother. After one week I am going to meet them. I have missed them so much.

After some time a car halted in front of me and my children come out from the car with Devika and their

Vikram uncle.

My children run towards me and hugged my waist saying," papa."

I bend down to their level and hugged them back. My children are looking too happy because they are

meeting with me after one week. A week ago they went on a trip with their mother and Vikram uncle.

I stood up and Devika's husband extended his hand and said smiling," Hello, Mr Agnihotri. I hope you

are fine."

I handshake with him and replied," Hello, Mr Ahuja. I am fine. I hope you are fine also."

He nodded his head and I looked at Devika who is wearing a red colour saree along with manual sutra

( nuptial chain) and vermillion on her head partition.

She is looking beautiful like a newly wedded bride. Seeing her I felt too much hurt thinking that she is

not my wife anymore. She is now Mrs Ahuja.

She looked at me and said smiling," Mr Agnihotri, I am leaving the children with you for one week.

Please, take care of them."

" Don't worry. I will take care of them," I said and gave her a sad smile. We always talk with each other

casually.

After that Devika and her husband left the place.

Before leaving I saw Vikram is holding Devika's waist and my heart shattered into tiny pieces seeing

them together.

I sighed and concentrated on my children. I entered the park with my children and they started playing

with each other. I also joined them and Devika's thought gets vanished from my mind seeing my

children.

My children's smiles give him happiness and take away my every pain. They are the sole reason for my

existence.

After playing with them for some time we are now eating ice cream sitting on the grass.

Daksh and Dipti are sitting on my lap and eating ice cream. Drishti and Devansh are sitting in front of

me.

My children are telling me about their trip with their mother. Listening to them I am sure that Devika is

very happy in her life.

I took a deep breath and took out her mangal sutra(nuptial chain) which she used to wear. I always

carry this mangal Sutra with me thinking that Devika is with me.

I said mentally looking at the mangal sutra," I will always love you Devika. I am happy that you are

happy with your soulmate."

In my life, no woman will ever enter because the place which Devika holds inside my heart, can never

be replaced by another woman.

I am happy in my life with my children, my mother Ruhani ma and my siblings.
