Chapter 17

Xavier's POV

"The witches has Amelia."

My entire body froze hearing this. This can't be happening. "What do you mean!" I yelled in anger. The

witches were dead. I know that.

"Amelia mind linked saying witches. When I tried to mind link her back, I couldn't get to her. Worried, I

followed her scent. It led to the woods. After some time it ended at one spot."

"There I smelled the witches scent. The trail ended there." he said frustratingly pulling his hair. My eyes

widened at this. This all my fault.

She was kidnapped because of me. "Call the trackers. Ask them to trace her. Now!" I ordered as

Nathan nodded his head and ran off.

I went to my office and calling the patrollers to look for her. I called the neighbouring packs to have a novelbin

lookout on her. It maybe late at night, but I am their king.

And their Queen is missing. My Queen is missing. I will not let the world rest till I find her. I will go on a

rampage on the world looking for her.

My wolf was on rage and had to be let out or else no one is going to be alive in the palace. I ran out

into the open and let my wolf out.

We went to where her scent trail ended. And indeed there was mixture of witches scent. Several

witches in fact. It can't be.

I killed all of them. I made sure of it. How can this be happening? I let out a threatening roar making the

entire woods wake up. I am coming for the witches.

And I am gonna kill them for taking what's mine. I went back to the palace, to see if anyone had found

her. When I head back, I saw Nathan ordering people.

Everyone nodded their head and scurried off. "What is the status?" I asked him hurriedly. He took in

deep breathe and spoke.

"Nothing. The witches have covered their scent. There is absolutely no way to find her." he said

frustrated. I got irritated.

"We have to do something!" I yelled. "You think I don't know that! She is my baby sister, dammit!" he

yelled. Normally I would have the person's head in a platter for using that tone at me.

But now, I understood what he is going through course that's exactly what I am feeling. Vulnerable. And

I didn't like that at all.

"What's going on?" I heard my mum's voice. I turned to her. She looked worried. She knows something

is wrong and she is not going to like it.

I told what happen and her eyes wide. "We have to find her." she said getting worried. I nodded my

head. I turn back Nathan.

"Get groups of the warrior as much as you can ASAP. We are going to every nearby lands to search for

her." I ordered. Nathan nodded his head and left.

We left to search for my mate. For Our Queen.

It has been one whole day, when we return after searching. We weren't able to find her. When I came

back, My mum, Angela, her friends and her parents were there.

When I informed them we couldn't find her, they broke. Nathan looked devastated. We all went back to

my office to come up with a strategy to locate her.

It was late at night, but we didn't care. We had to find her. The witches were heartless, They had hurt

children. Which means they won't hesitate to hurt her.

Which made my blood boil. I had to calm my wolf down, if we wanted to find our mate. We were

discussing with the Elders who came to help us.

My phone suddenly pinged. I open to see two messages. I clicked them open. The first message said,

If you want to see your mate open this link.

With wide eyes, I connect my phone to my laptop and opened the link.

My eyes widen at what I saw. She was tied to the chair, passed out. She was bloodied and was bruised

up. Her face was barely recognisable. My heart shattered looking at her.

"Xavier what is it?" Nathan asked me. I was too shocked to speak. He came towards me and saw what

I was looking at. When he saw it, he let out a gasp.

Seeing this, everyone came towards the laptop and saw the screen. Nathan's mum and Angela let out

a scream while the others gasped and took a sharp breathe.

"No, no. My baby." her mum cried. Her father was holding onto her. "Thomas," Nathan called to our

tech tracker. He quickly came in.

"Track where this is coming from." he said passing my phone. It was a live video. Suddenly a face

came into the camera. The witch.

All of us gave a growl. There were a few of them there, surrounding my mate. I could barely see

anything. I couldn't look at her in that condition.

"Welcome to, the torture of the Luna Queen. I have a surprise at the end of the video for y'all. Stay tune

to watch." she said laughing like a maniac.

"Oh wait. Where is the fun when she is sleeping." she said going out of frame for a seconds coming

back with a bucket.

She poured the water at her, making her jolt awake. She was shivering in coldness. "Well lets start

shall we?" she said. We all looked at the video scared not knowing what to expect. Amelia didn't know

about the camera as they hide it.

She took out an electric truncheon. We all looked at it wide knowing what is to come. She switched it

on and used at her as she tried to contain her pain and scream.

Her mum started crying harder as she fainted. Mr Rose took her to the couch, staying with her. None of

us was able to watch this, but we had to.

"Do you know why are we torturing you, Amelia?" the witch asked circling her. She let out a laugh.

"Because you guys are sick."

"Wrong." the witch said electrocuting her. "Because, your mate and your kingdom, they extinct our

kind."

"You did this on yourself. You kidnapped our pups and hurt them. Don't blame this on my Kingdom,

especially not on my mate." she snarled. She was defending me.

"Whatever it is, your mate is going to pay for it. By killing you, your mate is going to get hurt." she said.

"No, no." Nathan said panicking.

Amelia let out a humourless laugh. This got the witch mad. She grabbed chunk of her hair. "Why are

you laughing bitch?" she snarled at her.

"If you think it will hurt him, by killing me, you are wrong. In fact you will be doing him a favour. He

hates me. You hear me. HE HATES ME. He said it himself." She yelled at her face.

This shattered my heart into pieces. Those were my last words to her. "We will see about that." the

witch said. Suddenly a man came through a door.

All of them snapped their head there. The witches looked at him, smirking while Amelia looked at him

with shock.

"X-Xavier?" she whispered. All of us got confused. So did I. I was here. Why was she calling him

Xavier? "They cast a spell on her." Angela said.

My eyes widen in realisation. She thinks that's me. "Yeah. Its me." he said with a smirking. "Are you

here to safe me?" she asked with hope. "THATS NOT ME!" I yelled hoping she could hear.

But she couldn't hear. Tears were spilling from my eyes. "Actually the opposite. I am here to kill you."

he said making her eyes wide along with ours.

"No, no. Someone go and find Thomas and see if they have tracked the location." I said panicking. One

of Amelia's friend ran to find him.

"What? Don't do this Xavier. Please don't this. You are not a monster. Don't become one." she begged.

Someone, please stop this. I begged.

"Well I am a monster. " He said as he took a sledge hammer. I quickly stood up. "No, please stop.

Please stop." I begged hoping someone would hear this.

"Nighty night." he said as he took the sledge hammer and swinging it. My breathing got harsher. I heard

people around me screaming. But I couldn't hear any of it.

With one last swing, he swing it at her as the camera dropped. My breathe hitched not knowing what

happened. Oh goddess please let her be ok.

Someone grabbed the camera as they pointed it towards her. Her lifeless body. She wasn't moving or

breathing. A humongous pain engulfed me as I felt our bond break.

She is gone.
