Seeing Corey, Eudora immediately became tense and couldn't help feeling a little scared.
She had not forgotten that she flooded Colbert's apartment a few hours ago.
"Mr. Housman, what a coincidence."
She looked at Corey with an awkward smile. Then, she took out her mobile phone, quickly found
Belinda's phone number, and sent her a message.
However, as soon as the message was sent, Corey snatched her mobile phone away.
"Mr. Housman, what are you doing?"
Eudora pretended to be angry.
Corey didn't even look at Eudora's phone and directly handed it to the bodyguard behind him. Then, he
said to her indifferently, "Please come with me."
Corey took Eudora aside.
The car door opened, and Eudora bent down to get in the car. She saw a man sitting in the car calmly,
closing his eyes and dozing off.
Eudora's heart was beating violently.
She couldn't help swallowing and smiled obsequiously. "Mr. Steele, are you looking for me?"
The man tilted his head slightly and lazily opened his eyes. His sharp eyes fell on her, and he asked,
"How would you like to die?"
Colbert only said a few words.
His tone was very flat as if he was saying that the weather was lovely.
However, he was thinking about killing Eudora with a hint of patronizing contempt.
"I want to die of old age, peacefully without pain, of course."
Eudora smiled brightly but secretly scolded Colbert countless times.
The man crossed his fingers and rested his hands on his abdomen. He tapped the back of his hand
with his slender fingers and said loudly, "Corey, drive."
"Ah? You... Where are we going?"
Eudora panicked.
While she was asking, Corey had already gotten into the car and started it.
Colbert closed his eyes again and didn't reply.
Eudora had no choice but to look at Corey. "Mr. Housman, where are we going?"
"Hospital."
"Hospital?"
Eudora's face turned pale, and her heart was pounding nervously.
Thinking about Colbert saying that he was going to tie her tubes, she became more and more afraid.
Eudora believed she hadn't been afraid of anyone for so many years, but she had to admit that she
was really afraid of Colbert.
"It's over. I'm doomed..."
Eudora leaned on the car seat desperately, not even trying to struggle.
She was waiting for Belinda's call.
Someone's phone rang suddenly, and Eudora was both surprised and happy when she saw Colbert
pick up the phone.
She tilted her head and leaned over, then glanced at the screen. It was from Belinda.
"Grandma, help! Colbert is going to..."
Eudora yelled for help. But before she finished speaking, Colbert grabbed her neck and covered her
mouth.
"Shut up if you don't want to die!"
Colbert glared at Eudora sharply, with a chill in his eyes.
Eudora nodded repeatedly.
Now that Belinda had called, she had nothing to be afraid of.
"Grandma, what's the matter?"
Colbert asked after putting the phone next to his ear.
"Where are you? Where are you taking Eudora?!"
Colbert was speechless.
He fell silent and didn't reply.
"Say something you little brat! If anything, and I mean anything happens to Eudora, I'll make sure you
regret it!"
"Grandma, she's just a nobody."
"Well she's not a nobody to me! She could be pregnant with your child! I'm an old woman now. I don't
have much time, I need a great grand baby!"
"How is that girl worthy of marrying into our family?"
"You don't have to marry her, but you must keep the child."
"I don't know whether she is pregnant or not."
"Then just wait! You will find out two months later. But during this period, if you dare to hurt her, I will kill
myself and reunite with your Grandpa!"
Colbert was speechless.
"Give the phone to Eudora."
Belinda ordered Colbert. Colbert frowned slightly, and his hand holding the phone tightened a little.
He didn't know why Belinda doted on Eudora so much.
After hesitating for a moment, he let go of his phone. When he handed it to Eudora, he turned on the
speakerphone.
"Eudora?"
Belinda called out.
Eudora wiped her mouth that Colbert had covered. A hint of a smile appeared on her angry face.
"Grandma?"
"My girl, how are you doing?"
Eudora tilted her head to look at Colbert and raised her eyebrows with a smug look.
Then, her smile disappeared, and she burst into tears. "Grandma, Colbert said he would take me to the
hospital and tie my tubes. I'm so scared!"
Seeing Eudora's expression change in an instant, Colbert squinted slightly, and his eyes became
deeper and deeper.
If it weren't because of Belinda's order, he might have strangled this cunning woman.
"Oh, don't cry. Don't worry. I've already yelled at him, he wouldn't dare. If he tries anything funny, you novelbin
just let me know."
"I believe in you, but..."
"But what?"
"Colbert took my phone."
"What a bastard! Okay, don't worry. Let me take care of this."
Although Belinda had only spent three days with Eudora, she had to admit that Eudora was intelligent,
hardworking, and very kind.
The only shortcoming was that she was ordinary and not very attractive.
Belinda didn't think Eudora was ugly. She knew Eudora would be a good and caring wife, but Colbert
wouldn't be attracted by such an appearance. Therefore, he wouldn't marry her.
"Okay, thank you, Grandma."
"Give the phone to Colbert."
"Okay."
Eudora responded and returned the phone to Colbert.
Colbert canceled the speakerphone and put the phone next to his ear. "Grandma?"
"Don't call me grandma! You still think I want to be your grandma? How dare you think of tying her
tubes? You're just insane!"
On the other end of the phone, Belinda was furious. "Return the phone to Eudora immediately. I'll have
a video chat with her every day from now on. If I find out you did anything bad to her, you can bury me
next to your grandpa!"
"Grandma..."
Before Colbert could finish his words, Belinda had already hung up the phone.
He clenched the phone tightly. His joints were creaking, and his face was extremely dark, like a storm
raging on it.
Eudora looked at Colbert, observing his every move. Seeing that he was outraged, she knew that
Belinda must have warned him not to bully her again.
Thinking of this, Eudora finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Give her phone back."
"Yes boss-." Corey paused, "wait boss, really?"
"Yes!"
While driving, Corey took out Eudora's mobile phone and handed it to her.
"Thanks."
As soon as she got her phone back, she received a call. The name on the screen was "Madam Steele".
Colbert looked at the caller ID and gave a cold snort.
