Chapter 5 Giving Birth to Colbert's Child

Eudora desperately wanted to leave, and she came up with endless excuses.

"Madam Steele, it's getting late. I have to bring food to the hospital for my parents."

"Already taken care of." Belinda smiled kindly, "I have sent someone to bring your parents to the Steele

family's private hospital. They will be in good hands. Don't worry."

Eudora frowned and stood up abruptly, "How could you take my parents away without my permission?

Are you trying to hold them as collateral?"

"What are you thinking, you silly girl?" Belinda laughed, not offended by the accusation, "Fate brought

you and my grandson together! Colbert is not getting any younger; it’s about time for him to have a

woman by his side. That’s why I had to put something into his drink. I was going to match him with the

young lady from the Bartlett family, but as it turned out, he chose you instead! Fortunately you’re a

good girl, too."

Eudora couldn’t believe what she had just heard. This old lady had drugged her own grandson! And by

coincidence, he ran into her…

Before Eudora could make any comment, a silver-haired butler walked in, "Madam, Mr. Colbert is

here."

"Tell that brat to come in."

"Yes, Madam." The butler turned around and walked out.

Soon after, Colbert walked in. His gaze went straight to Eudora before he looked at Madam Steele,

"Grandmother."

"It took you long enough! I thought you lost your way," Belinda teased, then she pointed to Eudora,

"Before that, Grandmother… Let me introduce my girlfriend first."

"Girlfriend?" Belinda was taken aback and showed a hint of surprise.

Eudora was even more astonished. Come on!

If only Madam Steele knew a little more about her grandson, Eudora wouldn't have had to sleep with

that grandson and ended up in this situation!

"Come in," Colbert said to someone outside the door.

Everyone looked towards the door as a woman walked in with her head lowered, her high heels

clicking on the floor.
