Chapter 2 The death certificate

Meanwhile, a black Rolls Royce slowly stopped at the entrance of the airport. A middle-aged man in a

black suit quickly went forward and courteously opened the door. If this was seen by the upper class in

Nona, they would definitely be astonished, for this middle-aged man was Edward Lewis, the richest

man in Nona. But now he was opening the door for someone else.

Then an old man with white hair in a navy blue suit got off the car with a delicate cane in hand. At the

top of the cane was inlaid with an egg-sized sapphire. He looked old and weak, but he stood with his

body straightened up, radiating power and influence.

"The young master should be coming over, right?" The old man suddenly spoke, his eyes gleaming as

he stared at the airport exit. Just then two rigid and upright shadows appeared one after the other.

The old man gazed at the young man walking in front, and to Edward's surprise, the old man walked

over quickly bowed and lowered his head, as he respectfully said, "Greetings, young master, I am

Steward, butler of the Owen Clan from State of Donas. I am here to pick up young master back to

Dona to take charge of the Owen family.”

Hearing this, Baron finally knew who this old man was. However, as he heard of 'Owen family', the

original joy of returning to his homeland was instantly washed away by a wave of anger.

Baron contemptuously looked at Steward as he said, "It's really ironic, ten years ago, my mother and I,

were expelled from the family. Also, we were threatened not to set foot in Donas for the rest of our

lives, just because I was an illegitimate son and not qualified to possess anything from the Owen

family. And now you lot want me back to take charge of the Owen family?

“Eighteen years ago, when I was only nine years old, kneeling with my mother at the Owen family

courtyard all night in the pouring rain, did any of you ever show a trace of compassion?

"Five years ago, when my mother was seriously ill and I was at my wits' end, I begged the Owen family

to come to my rescue, what did you guys do?

“Now you know that I returned from the Pola in glory, holding immense power in hand, and you want

me to take charge of the Owen family?

“Go back and tell him, to me, the Owen family, is nothing! If you dare mess with me again, don't blame

me for making a trip to Donas personally.”

These words had been weighing on his heart for many years. The five years of experience in the

military career had long made his heart as still as water. He would normally never have such huge

emotional fluctuations, but at this moment, the memories that had been long suppressed, actually

made the eyes of this huge man with iron bones turn red.

Steward let out a long sigh, as if he had already expected this, and said, "The Brone Group was about

to land in Nona. The company was named after you and your mother when she lived in Donas at that

time. She brought all these up to this stage on her own. Now that your mother has passed away, it is

time for you to go back to lead the Brone Group.”

Baron coldly smiled and corrected, "This is not the Owen family giving me back the Brone Group. It

originally belonged to my mother but it was mercilessly taken away by you guys.” Baron directly

stepped away after he said this.

“Indeed, the Owen family was wrong!"

Staring after Baron, Steward had a sad face, and then instructed Edward beside him, "Edward, from

today onwards, you have to think of every way to help the young master as much as you can.” Upon

hearing this, Edward said with a respectful look, "Mr. Steward, I’m nothing without your help. Don't

worry. I will definitely assist the young master wholeheartedly.”

Steward suddenly added, "By the way, the young master got married five years ago, now since the

young master has returned, you should represent the Owen family and go to the Perry family to show

your respect."

"Yes!"

As Baron sat in the back seat of the speeding taxi, he recalled the past. Back then, he knelt down on

that night in pouring rain and lost his hope about the Owen family. Five years ago, his mother

completely collapsed because of serious illness, and at that time he had just graduated and was

penniless. This coincided with being framed for a night of sex with Tracy Perry.

A brand new Maybach automobile was parked at the entrance of an old courtyard. Baron looked at the

expensive luxury car, and gently smiled, "It seems compared to five years ago, the Perry family has

paid more attention to luxury cars. The Perry family father-in-law is driving a three to four million dollar

car.”

Once again when it came to the Perry family, Baron felt extremely complex. Although he was a victim

When he reached the entrance of the Perry family courtyard, Baron raised his hand and was just about

to button up his clothing when his arm froze and a harsh voice came out of the courtyard.

Sherry Perry, Tracy's mother, said "Joker, I have applied for that piece of garbage's death certificate so

take it easy for now. When that shithead's certificate is finally completed, Tracy will be single again.”

Terry Perry, Tracy's father, added quickly, "At that time, I will be the first to agree with the marriage

between you and Tracy.”

"Thank you, Mrs. and Mr. Perry. But regarding the problem on Tracy’s end, I'm counting on you two.”

"Joker, you can rest assured that Tracy will definitely agree.”

"Then everything is in your hands, Mr and Mrs Perry. By the way, this is the pure natural edible bird's

nest that I asked a friend to bring back from abroad. And, this is the ice jade I brought back for you.”

The entire courtyard was filled with the laughter of the couple, while Baron's face twitched, muscles

working. Just remembering that unforgettable figure of Tracy, he forcibly swallowed his anger. After all,

it was him to blame for leaving Tracy alone. What's more, he came back just for her.

Clang! Clang! Clang! Baron knocked on the door. “Who is it?" Seemingly disturbed by the knocking

sound, Sherry looked impatient as he heard the footstep sound getting closer and closer. She opened

the door and saw a person that she never wanted to see again. Immediately she said in shock with a

furious look, "You…are Baron?"
